LET A HOMELESS MAN LIVE IN MY RV WHILE REPAIRS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. **READ***
One positive. Ulysses, service rep, does his best with what he has to work with. After that, its trash. Garbage. I had used them a few times and it was ok, but my last time using them they left my rig unlocked and a HOMELESS PERSON SLEPT IN MY RV. Used drawers, took dumps in toilet, drank the alcohol we had stored in it, used Chassis battery to run a cig lighter fan and burned out that battery, left trash everywhere. The kicker was they had no idea!!! Here we go:
I dropped it off for minor stuff. Knew they were busy so said keep it as long as you like I need it back by "x" date. Was trying to be kind and let them know it wasn't a rush. It got close to date (a month later), I hadn't heard so I started calling. Ulysses got on it and said its done come get it. I come get it and we go into the coach together as they serviced AC and we were testing it. They also fixed the accordion door that opens between bed and front of coach. It was closed so when he opened it up to show me it was fixed I noticed trash and food wrappers and the blankets we had stored out and in disrepair all over the bed. I looked in the Bathroom and NO LIE noticed a big dump in the bowl (No WATER running to rig and tanks were empty so no flushing was being done) and there was trash ALL over. I initially thought that it was an employee being careless. Then I noticed the FEAR in Ulysses face. He proceeds to tell me that while he was on vacation, he was just told a couple homeless guys had been jumping their fence and staying in rigs at night. They caught them and they were arrested a few days prior to my call. But they had no idea how long it was occurring and "assumed" only the rig they were found in was the one they had been staying in. They made no effort to check other rigs on lot and notify owners of what had happened.
They said they had a new "Lot boy" who probably forgot to lock and they would clean and sanitize asap. I was furious and the "manager/owner" wasn't in so I asked Ulysses to tell him what happened and I want to make sure he makes this right. I was already out a $35 uber. I go back to pick it up and I get to desk to settle my bill. Mind you it had been about 48 hours and I heard nothing from the owner. no call, no text, no apology, nada. So when I got my bill and it was not marked down AT ALL...They had adjusted nothing for my inconvenience so I asked to speak to the owner. The rep came back after a long time and said he will do 10% I laughed. "No, id like to speak to him. Now" 10% off my bill wasn't even $70 and I was out more than that for the extra ubers.
He labored over clearly upset that I was requesting his presence. I proceeded to ask him why this happened and why didn't they inspect other coaches and notify their customers? I explained my wife and 2 year old daughter sleep in that bed and crawl on that floor. This is my home when we go out and we felt violated. And he ALLOWED this. We trusted our RV to their care. This wasnt worth a conversation? A call? a significant reduction to the bill? ANYTHING? He very nonchalantly told me that I SHOULD BE HAPPY BECAUSE I GOT A FREE CLEANING! I was stunned. I should be happy? I was like brother, I didn't want the cleaning. It became NECESSARY AFTER YOUR MISTAKE. I just wanted my AC's serviced. He treated me like I should be grateful for this gross violation because I got my towels and bedding washed. What a joke. I proceeded to tell him how would you feel? If I let a homeless grifter sleep in his house? Dump in his toilet and let it sit? Use his drawers? Drink his sodas and liquor? Use his cups? His PILLOWS?
At this point I was raising my voice and using colorful language. I was F#$%ing mad yall. I told him he shouldn't make a dime of profit off this job and should have checked every RV ON LOT after they found this was occurring and let people know if they found they'd entered a rig. He said "we have too many RVs here to be able to check them all," as if this is a valid excuse. Not IM so sorry sir, NOTHING. So I told him maybe sell the business then to someone who gives a s**t. At this point, he took my RV keys & said pay the bill or I keep your RV. (!!!) All I wanted was for this man to take responsibility for his business and act like he cared. He didn't. Then on top of this trauma he threatened to hold my coach hostage. I ended up going behind the counter and said give me my keys now or else. It got ugly and I'm not proud of that but we were the ones that were violated and as a business owner who eats humble pie when i have to it was gross to see someone not care AT ALL about his customers well being or satisfaction. ZERO POINT ZERO. He gave me my keys, reduced my bill to about half and said I was not welcomed back. The arrogance to assume that was going to!! LOL
