I received a statment from Bank of America to the effect that a company in Scottsdale, Az. had billed my B of A checking account a recurring charge of $59.95. The statment from B of A mentioned a company named VLHEALTH with a phone number (***) ***-****. I called this number and a representative of the company informed me that when I placed the order for the weight loss product, that I had a week (or possibly two) to cancel the order without incurring a recurring charge.

This company claimed that I failed to cancel within the allotted time, and so the charge became recurrring. My belief is that this is a flat out LIE. I would have NEVER agreed to a recurring charge and my only intent was to try out the product to see how it worked.

However, in order to further bolster my claim that they are LYING, I only received one bottle of their product, which would not have happened if the busines transaction had been a recurring one.

I called the Police Dept. in Scottsdale Az. and they said that since I live in Oceanside, CA that I should refer my complaint to the Oceanside Police Dept., which I intend to do tomorrow morning. In addition, I intend to file a complain about this comopany (VLHEALTH, also known as Metabomatrix) to the Better Business Bureau of Arizona.

I am doing all this in the hope that no one else will have to deal with the frudulent business practices of this company

Scam alert

I also paid $4.99 shipping for the trial bottle and then continued to get bottles in the mail. The 2nd bottle was $59.95. I wrote CANCEL on the package and mailed it back and got charged anyway for it. I finally found a number and called. You are supposed to OPEN the package and there are instructions on how to send it back. Everyone knows that if it is unopened, you are not responsible and should NOT have to pay. Not these guys. There is a RMA # that has to be on the package to return it and get a refund. So I call when I get my 3rd package and find all of this out. I will not be refunded for the 2nd pkg. but if I call in a week and check and then maybe call in 2 weeks, I should get a refund on the 3rd pkg. The customer service rep said all of this was stated in the TERM portion on the bottom of the page. It does not tell you to read this but it's there. I didn't read it. I know better than this. and now I am out $59.95 and possibly another one for the third bottle. UGH! It is a total scam!!!!!

After hearing about this product on Dr.Oz, I went to the website to order the $5.95 trial. After filling out the initial contact page, I was sent to their order page.

They are charging $45/bottle of this product! No trial as advertised. I closed out without ordering and continued to further research. Found out that for the price they charge and their 'testimonies', the product has little to no effect.

Within 30 minutes I recieve a phone call from an 'unknown' number. It was this company wanting me to buy from them. I told them no. I further recieved 4 more calls within a 20 minute period from them. On the last call, I had to tell them to stop calling me or I was going to sue for harrasment.

METABOMATRIX FREE offer was fraud. After being lured by promise of fast weight loss, I accepted the free offer for a trial of the product and its companion MetaboPure intending to try it after completing Chemo treatments this December for two kinds of Breast Cancer.

The shipping charge of $4.95 seemed fair. I did not want or accept repeat shipments offer.

The first shipment was quickly followed by a 2nd and a third, billing my credit card $109.90 each time.

Attempting to use the online cancellation link severla times failed so I called Customer Service number listed for return RMA and cancellation. After repeating the sales pitch about the product benefits at beginning and near end of call, Katie ( or Katy) said that she would cancel my "orders" and instead of return of only 1 order crediting $109.90 less $9.95 shipping, she would offer credit of $179.00 (specifically 2 times $49.

95 and 2 times $39.95) allowing me to keep the products. She said that she used her calculator to come to this amount.

Obviously $179.00 is better than $99.95 so I said yes to this proposal. I wanted to be sure that this proposal was exactly what I would receive so I asked her to double check her math. She came back to the line sayng actually it would only be $140 as she had made a mistake. I added amount to be $179.80 which would have satisfied me.

She rudely informed me that I was being unreasonable as "she was only human and could make a mistake." I asked for a supervisor. After holding, I was told that the creidt would only be $140, that was all she could do. She humg up on me.

I did the search on the product tha I should have done before ordering finding this site and many other fraud reports on MetaboMatrix. At this point I am very certain that there will not be nor ever would have been any credit.

Next step is to contact my credit card company.

If a product seems too good to be true, DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Thanks for listening.

I have called to cancel Metabomatrix 3 times now. I just got another shipment, so called to find out nobody wrote anything in my order file or ever CX the order. This is a highly deficient company in many ways. I have to have the CS employee get the manager or supervisor to refund all of the money because I will not be forced to pay for something I have cancelled in the past, and this is their error completely.

Paid $4.95 for shipping of trial Matabo Matrix.

Matebo Matrix sent me another package that I did not order. I refused to open the envelope, printed "return to sender" on envelope along with "Unordered. Send no further orders," Today, 17 June 2016, another envelope of this unordered Metabo Matrix arrived in the mail. It is going back unopened with directions on the envelope for Metabo Matrix to send no more of anything; furthermore, I am contacting my credit card company not to honor any charges from Metabo Matrix. I never ordered this product. I do not want it.

Responded to an internet advertisement as seen on the Dr. Oz program for a product called,'Metabo Matrix' (05-12-2016). Filled out the information contact form for the 'FREE TRIAL BOTTLE', but paid the $4.95 for the shipping and handling and only applied for only the trial offer. About four (4 +) weeks later (06/02/2016), I receive a UPS package from the Fulfillment Center containing a 60 capsule bottle of MataboMatrix and a billing statement for $59.95. The billing statement has no customer service number, only the Fulfillment Center address of: P.O. Box 29056, Phoenix, AZ, 85038 . The billing statement gives and order number, order date as 05/31/2016 with a notation that this is a 'monthly order', automatically assigned. I found a Metabo Matrix 'customer service' number at 888-552-3685 on line. I contacted Metabo customer service twice (2) about canceling the bank charge and the product service. In the first call to customer service, I complained that 1) I had not ordered a monthly subscription to the product, but only the 'Trial' bottle which I had paid $4.95. I informed the Metabo representative that after reading the enclosed Metabo pamphlet, I had consulted my doctors advice about the Metabo use. . I was advised for medical reasons , that I should not take Metabo. The phone representative kept trying to 'talk over' our conversation, telling me what a great product Metabo was and could he offer me something else. Finally, I told him to shut up and listen what I was trying to tell him. First, I could not use the product, second I did not order the Metabo in the mail and this was a marketing scam to defraud the public and the banks. This whole marketing ploy was a covert form of theft by the company. The Metabo representative stated he would cancel my monthly subscription, but that I would still have to pay the $59.95 banking charge. The representative (they are instructed not give you there full name or where they are located) stated, he was sorry that i thought it as a marketing scam, but even if,I was to return the product to cancel the bank charge,I would still be charged a 'restocking fee' and would have to pay for the return shipping also. The representative quit the phone contact, alleging since I would not agree to the bank charges and the return charges, he disconnected. Immediately after the phone call, Metabo matrix dispatched a 'Cancellation Notification' of the subscription, but that i would still be charge $59.95 for the product they would not allow me to return, with out additional charges. On June 06,2016, I contacted my credit card company and identified a disputed payment for the $59.95 amount with Fulfillment Center and requested to stop payment. On June 07,2016 I contacted Customer service the second time to confirm the return policy and bank charges. The representative look up the account and informed me by phone that unless I agreed to the return charges, I could not return the product. Any resolution about the payment would have to be resolved by company management. Following this conversation, i am filing a report for others to take note of possible intentions of bank fraud on their personal accounts by Fuifillment Center, a service provider.

I cancelled my 14-day trial period on day 8, with Marcus at the number 888-552-3684, which is listed in Section 2.1 of the Terms and Conditions section related to cancellation during the trial period. I asked for a confirmation #, to which he advised there was none available.

I was charge $49.95 and $59.95 by VLHEALTH on 04/19/2016.

Female (did not get her name): I called the number provided on the transaction and was told this was never cancelled and no refunds would be given. That was with a woman whos name I did not confirm. When I provided the information about cancelling during the 14-day trial period with Marcus and am requesting a full refund, she proceed to hang up on me. She did state she had cancelled for both products of #395709 and #359707.

I called back and here are my notes on the calls:

Marcus: he hung up as soon as he pulled up my account and I advised I had concerns on billing.

Richard: He hung up after I advised on my cancellation call on 4/8/16 and read him section 2.1. He stated they do not EVER give refunds and hung up on me.

Tre: I explained again about cancelling within 14-day period and that I had been hung up on by 3 representatives. He transferred me to...

Tay (Supervisor): I explained my concerns about previous treatment, account not be cancelled, according to their records and that I am requesting full refund. He then hung up on me.

Jessie: He provided me with a corporate number of 877-590-1901, which when I called it was out of service.

Britney: She, again, stated that it is their policy not to issue refunds or credits, under any circumstances. She did transfer me to a manager, Jessica

Jessica: I explained the situations. I advised, as I did to previous representatives that I cancelled 04/08/16 to cancel. I advised I do have that call documented in my call list. The call had a 4 minute duration. She said they do not ever give refunds and that SHE was cancelling the account, with confirmation #395707. I asked for the second one and she said there wasn't one. I also explained that first representative gave me 2 numbers, one being the same as she gave me, which she stated are computer generated when cancellations are done. She refused to discuss this. I also adviced of the situation regarding the to the corporate office number, provided by Jessie. She said they don't have access to corporate office numbers. She was very rude during entire conversation. She said she would do a 30% refund. I stated I wanted 100%. She said that is not possible. I stated, 'at least, during the previous treatment by her representatives and supervisor, I was due at least 50% since a 100% was obviously not going to be given. She agreed to a 50% refund. She stated SHE was cancelling account and gave me confirmation #395709. I asked for the second one and she said there isn't one. I advised her that first woman I talked to told me she was cancelling it and gave me the same confirmation she just gave me, plus another #395707. She said that is impossible that two confirmation #'s would be given. She stated that I would get two refunds, $24.98 and $25.95. Call then ended.

This company is very shady. They say one thing but do another, or fail to do what needs to be done. They consistentuctly hang up on people. I conducted these conversations in a business tone, with no disrespect to them. I indicated my discouragement in this situation.

Additionally, I explained to them that I cancelled on the 8th because I was having a reaction to both. Also, I experienced no positive benefit from these products.

I would never recommend these products or service to ANYONE!!!

I sent for a free sample of Matabomatrix and paid $4.95 shipping. Then, without my knowledge, they are sending me monthly supplies at $59.99 a month...I dont want them and see no way to cancel.
