We got a Sheepadoodle from Mesquite Mountain Doodles and our neighbor got one from the same litter. The two dogs are amazing and have made our families complete. We had them shipped together on a flight and had a great communication process with Randy. Our doodle is now registered with the papers Randy sent to us showing the champion bloodlines the pups came from. After 1.5 years, we're ready to welcome another Sheepadoodle in to our family.
I have adopted two dogs different litters 3 years apart. The first was a labradoodle. A smarter kinder more gentle dog - I have never known. We decided he needed a buddy so we adopted a sheepadoodle! Who also is so smart, so sweet, so gentle - loves to cuddle!. I can’t say enough about both dogs! All the credit we believe goes to Randy’s breeding practices. It was a risk to adopt puppies from Texas when we live in New England - but a risk worth taking!
Please do your research before purchasing from this breeder!! My husband and I purchased a Sheepadoodle from this breeder several years ago (yes, I'm a bit behind schedule on this report). She seemed healthy at first, but started having skin issues after a few months.
After doing some testing, the vet found that she had Demodectic Mange. Unfortunately, this form of mange is hereditary and there is nothing that we could have done to prevent it. We were told that she had a 25% chance of survival.
Luckily, after countless vet visits, vet bills, and tons of love, she pulled through! We were told that it was necessary to get her spayed since this is a hereditary condition and immediately notified Randy Ellison. If you adopt a dog from this breeder, please do your research!
The Dam was 'El Lana of the Woodlands' and the Sire was 'Kit-Sue's Buster Brown Preston'.
