To begin with the sales person came in a reviewed our bill with another processor, and promised to save us hundreds of $. He signed us up for a check reader, we don't accept checks. This was my husband feeling bad for a guy with a cane, promising the world. We paid $200 MORE, were "in contract" couldn't return anything without being charged $4000. We could never get ahold of the sales person. When I finally did, he told me he'd pay the difference in price out of his own pocket every month. Right then I knew I was dealing with a scam artist. After the contract was finally up I called to cancel. Of course the equipment was leased through First Data Global leasing. After they told me that my contract was up and where to send the equipment, I continued to be charged $64.86/ month for the lease. When I called to inquire, I was told that our contract did not expire, but the name on the account under our MID was NOT US!!! Bizarre!! They refuse to refund any money. This month Merchant Lynk charged us $179 annual fee. Again, when I called to tell them that we did not use their services, she said if we were using their services within 30 days prior to their annual billing cycle we would be charged.. Contacting Better Business Bureau also. Stay away from this company!!
