I was employed by Shaver, Lease owner of a 2015 Volvo semi truck. I preformed driving duties under D.O.T. regulations for a class A cdl driver. The company I am reporting is Mellson Transportation. Every week my paycheck was inaccurate. The mileage was wrong, and he would forget to pay me added drops, and he would take more money than allowed by law. He was stealing from me. I have copies of logs and also text messages from him stating he paid me wrong. I gave him a notice stating I was leaving his employment, and I turned all equipment back in to the company in immaculate condition. My last paycheck was short a thousand dollars, and he never added the money to my check he admitted to not paying me on text message. I have tried several times to contact Shaver, with no luck. I've text him stating that I was turning him in to the better business bureau, and he never replies. I don't recommend any hard working driver to his company.
I am a driver for Mellson Transportation. I have been for several years and have not once come across any problems with my employer. Pay has always been on time and accurate. I know who this is posting this and it's easy to figure out because he's the only driver that has come and left. It is said that this person was employed for 3 months? I believe it was 3 weeks. This person was a nightmare from what I understand from. I heard that this guy started with the company and on his first load called in to dispatch to say that he needed to immediately leave from route and be in another state miles away to avoid being arrested due to several domestic violence cases and missed court dates. It also crossed my ear that this driver needed money day one of orientation and needed advances dang near every other day. With that said, we all have a choice on who to be. There are steering wheel holders and there are professional drivers, but more importantly men/adults. I find it amazing in my own opinion, that people can get themselves in all kinds of trouble in life and have so many problems that they feel everyone else should share in their misery. This is a great company based on great principles and I've been happy with them thus far. It just amazes me that one person out of many can have a world of problems in their life and then at the same time be the only person who has something bad to say of a good situation. Coincidence? I just thank God that I wasn't given the womanly traits of arguing and causing adolescent nonsense.
