Riddle is a scammer par excellence. She is currently scamming my soon to be ex-husband who has been employing her on and off since May 2012. She currently lives in an apartment that he leased for her in San Francisco, and is in the process of spending all of our community funds on vacations, furniture, expensive restaurants, etc...I had a PD investigate her extensively and I am happy to share to those who were also scammed by her.
Melissa Riddle: this individual claims to be a "social entrepreneur" from Harvard but it is not true. Melissa Riddle asked me to invest $100,000 in a project that was supposed to help children in Indonesia but after a couple of months I found out that this project never existed and in the meantime she had already disappeared (with the money).
On top of that, Harvard University told me that this person has nothing to do with the institution. Basically she is using the name "Harvard University" without authorization just to rip people off and hide her criminal activity. I want my money back!
Mellissa Riddle is a complete and utter fraud, and is a danger to society. The following is a 2019 report from a private detective in Northern California where she is kept as a sugar baby by her current (married) lover.
March 07, 2019:
This investigation was conducted during the weeks of February 25, 2019 and March 4, 2019.

Sara Lee Direct:
Sara Lee staff was unwilling to fulfill my request over the phone.

The subject’s resume also states that after working four years as a director of operations, she went on to become an executive assistant, generally considered to be an entry-level position, with few opportunities for advancement.
Gainesville State College:

References:
We did not contact her references specifically because they were provided by the subject. These have already been prescreened and would give prearranged answers and would, no doubt, alert the subject that someone was checking her references, putting her on alert.
LinkedIn Statements:
Altajir:
COS may refer to Chief of Security or Chief of Staff. This appears to be left deliberately vague.
There are numerous companies with the name Altajir. Other people on Linkedin specified with Altajir Glass, or Altajir General Trading. There were numerous other organizations. with the same name, including Altajir Trust, Altajir Bank.
Unified Solutions Consulting:
In resume provided by the client, the subject states that she worked for Unified Solutions between 2008 and 2013, but as an executive assistant. This is a very different title than director and co-founder. The resume further states that the job took place in Arizona and California, while the Linkedin entry states the job took place in the USA and Europe. The latter sounds much more glamorous, but is exceedingly vague.
CAM:
It is impossible to know exactly what CAM refers to as it is deliberatively vague. However, the most likely possibility is that it refers to CyberActive Marketing, which is listed on the resume provided by the client. On the Linkedin entry, the subject only lists three vague functions, marketing, PR (public relations), and IR (investor relations) whereas her statements in her resume has her performing more mundane day-to-day tasks such as managing other people’s emails and calendars. These functions have nothing to do with marketing, public relations, or investor relations roles.
Dustin Robertson & AVIDIVA:
This is different from the executive assistant and assistant producer roles stated in the subject’s resume. In show business, employers frequently give producer titles in lieu of increased pay, when in reality, a producer’s duties may range anywhere from fetching coffee to being an investor in a particular project. In the Linkedin summary, the subject states she handled public relations, advertising, and marketing, certainly a prodigious undertaking for a single person. By contrast, in her resume, the subject states she handled more mundane tasks such as managing calendars, booking travel, acting as a “gatekeeper”. The subject also states in her resume that the position took place exclusively in California, whereas she states in her Linkedin that the position took place in the USA and Europe.
Kintamanti Imports, LLC:
Only one web page available, as part of usa.exportersindia.com, and no contact information available.
Harvard University:
Harvard University was unable to fulfill my request by telephone.
Stanford Continuing Studies:
I spoke to an unidentified female who stated there was no record of the subject having attended this program. This is after verifying specifically the school of continuing studies and the innovation and entrepreneurship program that the subject states she attended.
Other:
The subject wrote a Linkedin article on March 29, 2018 regarding privacy on the internet and the right to remove personal information from the Internet. While this is a currently controversial topic with valid argument on both sides, the subject used particularly strong language about “rampant greed”. While this may be a legitimate concern on the subject’s part, it is possible that she was concerned about derogatory information.
It is worth noting that while the subject’s facebook profile does not include any illicit meetings or activities, it does include numerous travel pictures, including the location where they were taken. Considering the frequency of these trips and the leisurely activities being documented, it is possible to use this profile and comparing it to a suspected lover’s past trips in order to see if they coincide, in time, location, and nature of activity.
Conclusions & Opinions
After placing numerous phone calls under false pretenses, we encountered varying levels of cooperation. As expected, some organizations were unwilling or unable to give out personal information to a stranger over the phone. Despite these obstacles, numerous people and organizations and people we spoke to were cooperative and NOT ONE SINGLE person or organization was able to confirm any knowledge of the subject. Some of these references were over ten years old and this may be expected, but certain reference checks make it clear that some statements were fabrications. The man who started Source Capital Group confirmed that it was an old company of his, yet had absolutely no knowledge of the subject. Stanford University registrar’s office had no records of the subject or anyone with her last name. Universities are required by federal law to keep accurate records, yet none of the ones we contacted had any record of the subject.
There were some tremendous discrepancies between the subject’s resume and LinkedIn profile. While many people will attempt to “play up” their experience, there is only so much exaggeration one can state when trying to stay within the bounds of accepted job-hunting practice. However there were numerous inconsistencies such the subject stating she was an administrative assistant on her resume, but a director and co-founder on her LinkedIn.
Many of the statements in the subject’s LinkedIn and Resume appeared deliberately vague. Anyone who is looking for employment and has a modicum of professionalism (especially someone who has attended Harvard and Stanford Universities) knows to keep statements clear and easy to follow. Yet many of the job titles were vague abbreviations, many of the companies were impossible to locate, and the job functions were sweeping and exceedingly vague.
The locations of the jobs held were also vague or inconsistent. While the resume for some positions state they took place in Arizona, the companies only had locations in Georgia. Other positions are listed in the resume as taking place in Arizona and California, but the same position on LinkedIn are listed as USA and Europe. These are large discrepancies, which appear to be attempts to make the positions sound as glamorous as possible, and possibly harder to verify as they take place outside the United States.
Lastly, anyone in the workforce looking for any sort of position in corporate America must know that all major companies require basic background checks and will, at the very least, verify past employment and educational achievement. Numerous companies (including this one) specialize in applicant backgrounds due to the tremendous liability in hiring unqualified candidates, and the ease and low cost of performing background checks. The subject must know that making statements about working for numerous companies and attending prestigious universities can be verified in a matter of days, and that making false statements will not only result in her candidacy being terminated, but her professional reputation being irreparably tarnished. Despite these facts, the subject appears to enjoy a lavish lifestyle, filled with travel to exotic locations, horseback riding, and visiting expensive restaurants. Considering the detail of this investigation, it appears exceedingly unlikely the subject is paying for her own lifestyle, or any portion of it. It appears far more likely that she has an either partly or completely made up background to appear as cultured and accomplished as possible, while being supported by another party.
This investigation was conducted during the weeks of february 25, 2019 and march 4, 2019.

I spoke with pete, who stated he started unified solutions in 2001, and he stated he had no knowledge of the subject.
Source capital group:
I was unable to reach anyone after numerous phone calls.
It should be noted that even though the subject states that these jobs were in arizona and california, both unified solutions and source capital group appear to be small companies based in georgia, with no presence in arizona or in california.
It should also be noted that the subject’s linkedin account states that she was the director and co-founder of unified solutions, from 2009-2016, a vastly different title than executive assistant.

I was unable to obtain direct contact information for dustin roberston or aviddiva production. It should be noted that a director of operations title usually only comes after numerous nears of experience, while the subject’s resume states that she graduated from college in 2003.

On the linkedin entry, the subject only lists three vague functions, marketing, pr public relations), and ir investor relations) whereas her statements in her resume has her performing more mundane day-to-day tasks such as managing other people’s emails and calendars.
I spoke to an unidentified female who stated there was no record of teh subject having attended this program.
