I work for an internet advertising agency. We contacted Sue Pulikuri of Megastone on 5/1/14 to offer our services of internet advertising on Google. Sue purchased our services and was sent a reciept detailing exactly what phrase she was buying and cost per month. In this same e-mail was our terms and conditions of service, and a Welcome Letter with a list of E-mail addresses and instructions on canceling service with our company.
On 10/1/15 the credit card she had placed on file with us came back as declined. We gave Ms. Pulikuri some time to reach out to us to rectify the past due balance. When she did not we eventually tried to contact her to inform her of the card coming back declined. We left multiple messages and never recieved any return calls. Finally I was able to get her on the phone. At this time she declared that she had no idea who we were and she wasn't going to pay. By this time her account was 2 months past due.
After explaining who we were and sending her documentation of everything she then claimed that we weren't giving her what she asked for. We tried explain that she got documentation of exactly what she was purchasing at the time of purchase. Unfortunately she just kept talking over myself and my manager every time we tried to speak. She then said that she could never find herself online and we explained that she had been online the entire time. She then said "Fine, shwo me proof and I will pay" We then got her a traffic report showing her online activity. When she recieved it she then claimed that it didn't matter that she wasn't going to pay and if we didn't like it "Sue Me"
We are very upfront with our billing, cancellation policies, etc. We document everything and have recordings of the sales and our reps giving them instructions verbally of what they are buying and the cost. We have tried working with Sue and Megastone on this but have not recieved any indication that they intend to pay what they owe.
We have done quite well for them and have the traffic report to show it. I guess they just decided that not paying was preferable to keeping their word. I just wanted to put this out there so that anybody looking to do work with them knows the kind of people they are dealing with.
Even if you have something in writing they will find a way to break their word and if you don't like it, they don't care and will just say "Sue Me"
Consumers be warned, I am sure you want a company that honors it's agreements.
