Medtech Reviews

I received a call from John stating he wanted to verify my address to send a MedTech catalog. He had my address already. He then said he wanted to notify me that the gloves went from $229 a case to $289 a case. He asked me what size I ordered most to lock me in to the old price. I said I don't know as we don't order gloves from you. He said well what size gloves do you order most. I said Medium and Large. He said OK, I'll lock you in for the old price for the medium and large gloves. You can expect them to arrive in 5-7 days. I said wait, you aren't mailing me gloves. He hung up.

I checked the caller ID to call him back and the number said Anonymous. I found their phone number on the BBB website and called. The gentleman that answered said his name was John, but it wasn't the same gentleman I was speaking with. I asked to speak to John and he said John or Jonathan? I said I'm not sure, it was about an order for gloves and we got disconnected. He said Oh that's John in sales. He said hold on. He came back on the phone and said John isn't available can I take a message. I said Yes, It sounded like he was going to mail me gloves and we got disconnected. Please tell him not to mail me gloves as we will refuse them. He said Ok, I'll walk this over to him and make sure he gets it.

We'll see if they try and deliver them anyway. Hopefully I got ahead of this scam by searching online. This is the most shady, underhanded way of trying to get business. How about doing it the honest way and see if someone wants to buy your merchandise and not try and scam them into paying for overpriced gloves that they did not order.

A gal from this company called to speak with our employee that is in charge of ordering our medical supplies. Throughout the conversation, the MedTech rep spoke very fast and loud stating our facility had ordered from them in the past and there was an upcoming price change on the gloves so she wanted to get 2 cases sent out to us and simply needed to verify the spelling of her name and the shipping address.

Our employee is fairly new to her position so was not aware we have NEVER ordered or done business with this company. We have never shown these gloves in our inventory. MedTech is now calling demanding payment for $494.50 for items we have not received.

They were fast talkers, the amount is exactly the same as the 2016 complaint.

I asked if they are returnable and they said yes. except my invoice has no numbers.

Unsolicited Call to medical staff offering "Free Gloves" ostensibly to test product. An employee with no purchasing authority agreed to accept their offer of "Free Gloves". 1 case of 10 boxes of Gloves arrived along with a bill for 2 cases of "Powder Free" Medical Gloves to the tune of $494.50 A phone call to the company to straighten out what I had hoped was a clerical error led to a conversation with "Mike Brown" whoi maintained we received 2 cases of 20 boxes and we in fact purchased and were liable for 40 boxes of medical gloves.

We will NOT pay for these gloves. Reference an earlier report from TKB on this same company.

BEWARE FOLKS! Inform your staff. Although we will not be out of pocket to these clowns, its still a PIA and a time sink to deal with.

These individuals need to be nailed. If you have been a victim speak up and report. Stop these clowns.

Someone from this company called our employee and told her that they were letting us know that the price of the gloves we ordered went up. She had never heard of the company but assumed I had placed an order so she said "okay". This became a "verbal" order to ship us 2 cases of vinyl gloves, each containing 5 boxes of gloves.

With shipping the cost of the gloves is $494.50. The employee tried to cancel the order when she realized she was scammed and was told not cancellations or returns.

First of all, I have never heard of this company so I googled it and couldn't find it. Then I googled the address - I got a UPS store or maybe a strip mall somewhere in Texas. Then I noticed at the bottom of the invoice it states, "Please be aware that the charge will appear on your statement as MAJUSCULE, INC."

The words MAJUSCULE INC. lead me to information about scammers using multiple medical company names that con small practices into buying latex gloves.

I am NOT paying for these gloves and the owners of this company need to be proscuted for the scammers they are!

I signed up for a Biotechnology program with an emphasis on Forensics. Middle of the semester, just after Student Financial Aid funds were dispersed (which I was counting on helping to fund costs for travelling from Ohio to Indiana to school every day - I received nothing after tuition and books were paid - funny how that never happens at a REAL college)...all persons in my program received notice of a meeting. There were approximately 12-20 students in the program, some were new and others had been there longer, not certain how long. In this meeting we were told they were not going to be going forward with our program and they would be moving us into the LabTech Asst program. There was no talk of being refunded or sending funds back to the government if we were to not continue. I argued that I wanted to continue the program, and was told in order to do that I would need to go to the Indianapolis campus (a full 3 1/2 hrs from where I lived at the time), I begrudgingly continued for another few days, but I was NOT satisfied and told my counselor such.

NOW I owe the government thousands of dollars for funds MedTech never returned and a semester that was never completed, even if I had completed the ONE semester it isnt what I was aiming for.

This seems very interesting that this meeting would take place AFTER Financial Aid was dispersed and we were supposed to believe that all of this cutting the program came about overnight????

Perhaps not ALL the programs is a scam, but this one was and I would like to see justice come out of this.
