Waiting room seating for Medical College of Wisconsin medical office inadequate and unusable. It is low, soft, cushioned, arm-less lounge chairs. Anyone with a mobility disability cannot use the seating. Patient must stand! Sympathetic staff will let a customer who asks (few do) to wait in an empty exam room - if there is one.
Attempts to get any response at all from the Medical College were ignored. A full year after I contacted customer services I am told, too bad, the clinic is closing.
For a Medical College to ever set up a discriminatory useless waiting room is incredible. I talked with the staff at the clinic. I was far from the first person to say something.
It took many phone calls, letters and questions to get to now. Nothing has changed. MCW simply says too bad, the clinic is closing. No statement that that kind of waiting room is not acceptable to the Medical College. No response to my question about why it takes a year to not deal with a customer complaint.
Nothing has changed. MCW continued to ignore discriminatory treatment for a full year after I made a complaint. How many other complaints about the same situation were likewise ignored? Does that mean discriminatory policies and practices will continue?
The reply to my most recent letter sure says that.
It should not take an arduous process and a full year to correct a serious problem.

I have had many dealings with the Medical College of Wisconsin. I have been examined by many MCW graduates. MCW graduates are practicing all over Milwaukee county and beyond. Back in 2010 I began to develop a myriad of health troubles. The MCW grads at Froedtert gave me various feed back. One doctor told me I was hyperventilating. Another tried to get me to take high blood pressure medication. All these people know how to do is write prescriptions. The primary doctor told me that specialists had examined my file and found nothing wrong. I then went to a Wheaton Franciscan clinic.
By then the problem had gotten worse. I had blood coming out of my ears and nose. The MCW grad at Wheaton thought I was sticking things in my ears. Finally I went to an Aurora clinic. The MCW doctor there also told me to stop sticking things in my ears. I last went to a ear,nose and throat doctor at Aurora who told me I had TMJ. Eventually I discovered that I had three tooth infections. After i had the teeth removed all of the health troubles including the ear and nose bleeding began to disappear immediately. MCW=medical clown college of Wisconsin. These people couldn't diagnose a mosquito bite.
