Unauthorized withdrawal

Mediazenn first withdrew $1.00 and $2.99. Then a month later $39.99. We had not ever looked at the site. Filed fraudulent charge at the bank and now awaiting refund.

I noticed a charge on my credit card from "Mediazenn.com" made on 9-4-17 while we were away on vacation. I did not authorize this charge. I called their toll free number and reached an automated line that allowed me to "cancel" the account, for which I never enrolled. I had to enter my full credit card number and the system must have recognized it. I was sent a cancellation email. Now I have to wait to see what happens. I was charged $39.99 plus an international sercice fee from VISA of 0.32 cents.

If I don't receive the full amount back I will file a fraudulent activity report with my bank, and will receive the refund in that manner. Only problem is I'll have to once again cancell my card and get a new one issued.

I learned my lesson long ago on these types of issues. Check your bank statements often. I check mine online mostly daily.

I am an international student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I am also a student of Kings College in London and Adelaide in Australia. I also have access to Henrico community library. Somewhere mid-December, 2016, I saw a strange deduction in my account as follows:

Mediazenn.com 888- Montreal, Can. S586338180598180. Card 2534. $39.99.

I immediately went to the website and noticed that, they had a few of my details but not all which was strange to me because, before I will sign up for something online, I would have to provide all my particulars. I however went on to stop the recuring order. I also called their customer care service the next day. The lady who spoke to me said that, I went to their site and signed up for a 14-day free trial which I did not. According to her, they provide on-line library resources and I was wondering how I could go and subscribe to an online library services when I have not finished exhausting the library resources of VCU, Kings College, Adelaide in Australia and the Henrico public library. I told her is there not a way to verify if I have ever been to their site before because I have never visited their site. She told me the only option available is for a half refund. I rejected it and pushed for a full refund. Later, she told me because I have checked the terms and conditions on their web site (which I am innocent of), even if I bring a lawyer, it will go against me so it is either I accept the half refund or I lose everything. I rejected the half refund and did not really know what I should do to this day when I saw that I can complain on ripoff and possibly, there could be an action taken against these crooks in the system. The only action I took back in the days was to change my card details and reset my laptop since I suspected that its intergrity has been compromised.

This is the second report I am putting out here. I wish someone would be willing to provide a free legal services so we can take these crooks on. I only want my full refund back. The damages to be awarded by the court will all go to the brave lawywer who would wish to fight this crooks for the American society.

Thank God Im broke

I don't know what site this, mediazenn.co but for some reason they keep trying to charge me everytime I put money in my card, I have been putting small amounts to pay for goods so they have never succeeded in scamming me but I wonder where they come from and how we can take them down. I have never signed up to this site the sites I have signed up with are not associated with this one. For anyone else If I were you as soon as you get some money quickly transfer it to another account before they charge you these guys are quick most likely they wait for you to transact to pounce on your account. This is the 5 th time they have tried to get 39.00$ from me and have failed and will continue to fail!!! Be quick if they have your main card get a new one, if you are seeing charges from them from your shopping card make sure you always deposit less the amount of 39.00$ to your PayPal or transfer quickly to someone else's PayPal. Don't let them steal from you!!!

Fraud Charges

When we ordered from Shari's Berries there was an extra charge on my Visa card for $39.99, plus different charges of $.32; $.02; $.01; $1.00 & $2.99. We have no idea who this MediaZenn.com is and why the heck it got attached to our Shari's Berries purchase. Shari's Berries denied any knowledge of this also. Not sure how I can get this money back, but I'm going to find out!

I don't trust them!

Same thing with me. I noticed a $39.99 charge on my credit card from them. I didn't what the company was. But I had an account with my email address and they had my credit card info. They agreed to cancel and refund me. After reading this, I don't trust them at all. I think I will file fraud charges against them. I want to give them 0 stars.

I found an unauthorized charge on my bank account for, first, $1.00, then the next month for $39.99. When I called the telephone number given by my bank, they said the charge was for "searching for a book or media" -- not even buying anything!

They agreed to refund the charge "since it was within the 7-day cancellation period". The refund code they gave me was C879-D337.

I asked how it happened. They said I might have "accidentally clicked on their site when I was looking at something else on the internet.

I asked how they got my bank information -- they said it might have been with an autofill function, and advised me to cancel that function. (I have no such function that I am aware of.) I am awaiting the refund.
