Marie is well aware that I am a United States disabled Veteran I have served my country proudly with Honors., and had recently suffered a stroke, she was able to fraud, Scam, and con me easily because I was not well. Marie Used My Veteran Disabilities to her advantage against me in her fraud schemes to steal my money.
When I hired Marie Mcdermed, My divorce case was in the final stage. Marie told me since most of the work has been completed, she said she would only charge me $600.00 to get my final divorce decree totally completed, to finalize my divorce.
Marie stated to me that it was a priorty in office to get my court date set, and that her assistant was on the phone setting my court date.
This was a total lie, I checked the local county website, and I find out she did not set my court date. I contacted Marie, she stated that she needed to charge me for a full divorce a total of $2,000 dollars, and I paid her $2,000 dollars, at this time she stated she needed to send document to the opposing lawyer, I requested that she she send these document US Mail with a tracking number, so I would have proof, of her work, she totally agreed. Instead she stated that she emaild my senitive documents to the oposing counsel without my permission or knowledge, and against my request. I asked Marie Mcdermed to send me proof that she she emailed the documents, Marie ignored me, and would not give me any type of proof of her work.
She did not handle my divorce case in a legal manner, I paid her in full, she not even contact the required parties and go on record as being my Lawyer.
Being a disabled Veteran, I scrapped up every penny to pay her, and I went without food, and was not able to buy my my Grandkids anything for Christmas.
There is a long list that she did not do. I phoned, and phoned, she would not answer my phone calls.
Actually Marie did nothing to finalize my divorce instead she caused me a lot of pain, and suffering, and great hardships on me, she was able to Fraud, and scam me due to the recent stroke I had suffered, it is a shame that that people Like Marie Mcdermed are allowed to fraud and steal from anyone. The reciept for the 1st $600.00 I paid her was totally missing when I logged into Marie's Freshbook accounting program that Marie uses on the Internet to collect money from her clients, It was a good thing, I had printed that invoice prior when I had paid her in full the $600.00, she was aware I had a stroke, I was struggling. I paid $2,000 total, and apparantly she deleted my $600.00 invoice.
There is no end to her frauding schemes.
I am now in the process of reporting her to the Texas Attorney Generals Office for Fraud.
