McCafferty Ford Sales Reviews
McCaffery Ford Langhorne PA My daugher was ripped off. She applied for credit to purchase a car, her credit was 630...which isn't bad, however; she was sent to another small office/trailer to finance at a high interest and THEY PICKED THE CAR FOR HER. I didnt want her to buy it becasue I knew they were ripping her off, but she insist on getting it. It was a 2014 Volkswagan Jetta, it came with problems with the engine before she purchased it. They fixed it after I complained. Seven months later, the problem happens again, her engine light is on and she took in the the mechanics at Macaffery who told her she didnt have a two year warranty. She had tp bring in her contract to prove it. It is coverd for powertrain/tranmission that would cover the electrical problem she is currently having. However; they told her she have to pay to get it fix, she asked them how much would it cost, they refused to give her estimate. My experience was bad from the beginning that I had to speak with the Manager in charge, turns out it was a waste of time, becasue they all work together. I plan to look into this further.
Was ripped on in 4/2016
This dealer caters to a certain class of people, and overcharge another class of people.
My daughter purchase a car that was CHOSEN by the dealership. They claimed the bank would only approve her for that particular car.
The car was a 2014 Basic Volkswagan Jetta. The vehicle came with the engine light on, and major problems that had to fixed to satify the purchase.
I didnt want to buy the car but my daugher insisted that she liked it. Well, seven months later the engine light and over issues arise, and the Dealership told her she didnt have an two year extended warranty. She does, and she had to prove it, so she brought in her paperwork and they still refused.
The car is covered for transmission/powertrain which covers electrial, however; they told her she wanst covered and has to pay of of pocket. She asked how much, they couldnt give her an estimate and told her thety were busy and dont know when she could set up an appointment. Basically, they didnt care..
I plan to pursue this further becasue I believe this has a lot to do with the fact that I communicated director with upper management, who bascially, tried to ripped me off for another $1000, and keep the intial down payment.
