I have past coporate and managerial experience and started working at MAX Agency when I was laid off.
I was paid at first and given amazing feedback. After a while of working there, the payments became less frequent although I was still given great feedback. Suddenly, when it came to collecting payment for all the time put in, I was told that my performance was not up to par and not given any payment, although I was still working for them the entire time and they were enjoying the "fruits of my labour" so to speak.
I know other employees also had issues with payment.
I can reliabily say that this is a portfolio mill and employees are regularly instructed to collect "leads" at any cost. It really doesn't matter how you look like or even if you have any talent, just as long as you have the money to pay them, they will take you, but not offer you any work.
The employees there do not last long because by the time they find out what is going on, they cannot bear to even work for such an unethical, heartless, and scam of a business. That is what happened to me and not a business I even wany to remotely associate myself with. A lot of the employees lothe working for Kamrin (the owner/agent) and have complained of how he treats them and how apprehensive and nervous they are around him. It is not a good place to work for and not a good agency to be involved with.
I finally got the payment in the end, but it took a lot of effort and essentially threatening legal action.
