This company is a rip off. I replied to an online display ad for a free Bottle of Max Garcinia and a Free bottle of Max Green Coffee 365 to try for weight loss. i agreed to charges to pay for only the shipping cost of $5.95 and $5.99 individually. They sent an email confirmation which stated the product has shipped with no Additional Information.

I aws not aware that there was a return clause on this product which stated that if I did not cancel the trial by the 14th day - that my Credit Card would be charged $93.95 and $93.99 ($199.88) fo the first 'free trial' shipment of 2 bottles. Within 2 weeks of receiving the product (I had not tried it yet, not even opened the bottles) I receivced a 2nd shipment of the 2 products....a 2nd shipment that I had not ordered. I immediately called customer service and complained and insisted they cancel any future shipments from being sent to me. Unfortunately, I did not ask whether I had been charged for the 2 shipments sent to me, I just put them aside to send back to the company. (none were opened). Next thing I know, my credit card bill arrives and I've been charged $99.95, $93.99, $99.90 and $99.98! EXORBITANT

I had only ordered 1 free trial, hadn't had a chance to try it yet, and now I've been charged almost $400. After immediately filing a complaint with my credit card company, I contacted customer support at Max 365 to say I wanted to return the unopened samples and to have my money refunded. I had no idea that this 14 day period existed after which I would be charged full price, never even told what full price would be, I was never informed that I was being put on auto-refill and would be receiving more charges, I had never been sent terms of any kind of "agreement".

I spoke with customer service rep named Timond in the Colorado office, his ID is #1679121 and he told me that the company would not accept returns or allow refunds because the 14 day period (that I never even knew about) had passed. I reiterated that the product hadn't been opened, I was prepared to return it, I had not agreed to have any additional charges beyond the $12 shippping charges applied to my credit card, and situation was unacceptable. Timond said there was nothing I could do. I asked to speak to his manager, he told me he was not allowed to do that. He insisted there was nothing I could do.

This is completely outrageous. I still have the unopened product ready to return, I just want to do that and get my money back from this rip off company. My order for the free trial was placed on 12/29, my credit card charged on 1/13 and again on 1/30, then I received my credit card statement on 2/9 (today) so I did not know about this until today. And I've been charged $400 for nothing!!!

I received no emails from the company informing me of this agreement starting or ending, there's no information on the order confirmation email or order cancellation email that suggests there would be any charges. This is absoloute CONSUMER FRAUD. I will do whatever I can to fight it.
