I Bought a Matteress from Matteress 1one and upon delivery they crushed my driveway with a U-haul delivery truck. I reported it to salesman and he called Corporate and they told him TELL ME to get 3 estimates and pictures which I did and sent them in. I called Corporate 12 times and was always told that someone would return my call never happened so I went to see Bruce and he faxed them and called them and still know Help.

I went back to store and Bruce gave me General Sales manager number and he said he would handle it. I had a Stroke Feb 16 2019 and wasn't able to get back with them until 3 monhts later. I went to see Bruce and told him I still hadn't heard anything. I told Bruce i was going to Channel 12 and see if i could get some help! I have the Pastor Johnny Thomas and the pump man that wittiness the truck crushing my driveway. Then I receive a email stating that they didnt do any damageto my driveway after all the pictures and Estimates.

My wife and I purchased two temperpedic mattresses from Mattress 1 the first week in April 2019. The Area Manager Bob was very knowlegable and friendly, we purchased over $15,000 worth of beds with frames with the Area managers assurance and our receipt that says they have a 100 day sleep comfort guarantee.

Our first delivery was a disaster they tried delivering 3/4 of a mattress on one bed and the wrong firmness on the other, we had to call several times to get the correct mattresses we originally ordered, we were also promised additional pillows for our inconvenience which we are still told 90 days later are on back order.

We called Bob before the 100 days expired to ask for our mattresses to be switched to softer firmnesses and were told ok I'll make it happen and get back to you, this was in late June 2019. I have been calling bob for 2 weeks and today he finally said he was gone for personal reasons but he said we used our comfort guarantee and there was nothing he could do.

In my opinion this company doesn't stand by it's product and now we are forced to file a lawsuit just to get them to honor what they put in writing.

I went to Mattress One and bought about $460 worth of bedding and was told I could get 100 day free financing if paid monthly. I said that's what I want and was told OK. After checking 5 months later when it should have been paid off, I called Snap Finance and was told I was on a 1 year payment plan and it would cost me over a $1,000 dollars.

Even if I paid it off then it would still cost me 900 dollars. The contract I signed at mattress one for Snap Financing only showed they had 100 day financing or longer for a fee, but didn't show what of the two that I signed up for and didn't show I needed to do anything further, I took the word of the salesman who didn't seem to like that I bought only a $200 mattress. It seemed like preditory fraud to tell me I was getting free finance for 100 days when I was stuck with over 100% finance charge for 1 year.

I normally do my homework before making large purchases but this company caught me with my guard down. I walked into their store near the Clearwater Mall on Gulf to Bay Blvd. on the Black Friday weekend of 2016. I spoke with a Steve Kregel who was the salesman on duty at the time. I told him I have a bad back and of course having a weight issue, I need something with greart support.

I then asked him about the Sealy Hybrid, he said it was a $1300 mattress but that it was a very firm mattress and that it should provide me with ample firmness for my condition.

This was the first time putting this kind of money into a mattress but I figured if it helped me to get a better sleep, I'm willing to make the investment.

I asked him several times, "are you sure this mattress is firm enough for someone of my size and with a bad disc in the lower back"

"Absolutely" Steve said, "besides, we have a 6 month Comfort Guarantee". Steve also sold me the deluxe adjustable frame.

Total retail price $2876.16.

I took delivery of the mattress and deluxe adjustable frame in mid to late December of 2016. Around August or September of 2017, I started developing severe pain in my back, so bad that I had to miss work several times because I could barely move when I got up. I wasn't sure what was going on and so I started making appointments with my doctors fearing that perhaps a medical condition was setting in.

The doctors found nothing and literally just prescribed muscle relaxers. I noticed that if I inclined my adjustable frame to a 45 degree angle, I could sometimes sleep a little better.

Around late November of 2017, I accidentally fell asleep on my couch one night as I hadn't been sleeping well the past several months so I just crashed I guess. To my surprise, I woke up the next morning feeling like a million dollars! After all this time, it's the bed... the bed is killing me! But alas, I'm beyond the 6 month "comfort guarantee"!

I contacted Mattress 1 and finally managed to get correspondence with Mimi Cintron . Note that they don't even have their own company email address. I explained what was going on and she just kept on mentioning that the mattress was still covered under a manufacturer warranty against defects. I kept on explaining that the mattress itself was probably fine and that it probably wasn't firm enough for me and that the salesman, "Steve Kregel" should have not recommeneded this mattress. He told me this mattress was very firm and should provide the support I need. He should have some responsibility to the customers in what he recommends. What he did was deceptive in my opinion. If he didn't know he should have said, "It all depends on how you feel after sleeping on it." Don't recommend something you don't know about.

She basically told me that there was nothing else they could do. I even asked if they could work out a deal, maybe sell me a firmer mattress at a reasonable discount. I was willing to take another if they could work me out a deal and they still wouldn't have any part of helping me in the situation.

I finally reached out to Sealy thinking they would at least back their own product. Sealy straight up said there was nothing they could do or would be willing to do.

Do yourself a favor and do some research on this company. I found some interesting facts about the owner doing a background check.

Had I known what I know now, I would have NEVER walked into this place.

Furthermore, Sealy won't see a dime from me for the rest of my life and I will be sure to spread the word about their lack of integrity in supporting their product or people who purchase them.

My husband and I purchased this mattress under fraudulent misrepresentation of the product. We advised the sales lady Carol that my husband is a disabled Veteran and has had several injuries . He has had back surgery and shoulder surgery. Also advised my medical issues with sciatica, and major Arthritis that can not be fixed medically. She assured us that after sleeping on this bed for a while that we would wake up feeling so much better because our old bed was causing us unwanted duress to our back issues. Well it has been a few months now and our backs actually feel worse, we wake up in so much more pain then before we purchased this bed. also, on their website is states 180 day in home trial. which they do not want to honor. Stating that with the bed we purchased it was not included in the 180 day home trial.

In relooking at the application invoice in small print it does say no refunds. However, the saleswomen Fraudulently Misrepresented the product and geared us towards the mattress we purchased. She never once explained to us of a no return policy for a refund. Even though all over there adds and posters in the store windows state 180 day in home trial. To me that is very deceiving to the public. And To get over on a Veteran , no less a disabled Veteran is disgusting . No way in hell to do business. So now the mattress is bagged up and sitting in the garage, not being used. Yet we have to pay $5000.00 for it. I didn't want to pay that much for a bed thought it was ridiculous but the sales lady assured us it would be the best bed to purchase especially with all our medical issues. OUR MISTAKE, because WE BELIEVED and TRUSTED HER !

Let me tell you about Mattress One! First we decide to do their 90 days same as cash but their web site wont link to it, then we find it on our own and apply, wife is approved and it says her first payment will be due in two weeks and we haven’t even been to the store and even looked yet. Then a local manager calls us and keeps changing numbers on amount do. We just decide to cancel and he keeps badgering me telling me my wife really wanted to get this mattress…….. I filled it out for her online, she has never been there! So we cancel everything, THEN she decides to order one online from them and just use a credit card, only to be called the next day and told they don’t carry that one on their web site that she purchased, and try to talk her into applying it to a higher priced one. She cancels it and tells them to refund it or cancel the charge. Two days later her credit card is charged anyways! No sign of refund or response yet! BEWARE of this scam company!

I wrote a check to Mattress One on 8/1/16 to order a headboard to be delivered 9/3/16. I told the manager Jonathan to hold it till 9/2/16 to be deposited. I was in no hurry for the headboard. I told him put the check in a pending folder for 9/2/16. The check was cashed on 8/9/16. I called and cancelled the order on 8/10/16 with Amanda at the store. I followed up with the manager Jonathan a day after. A week later I called customer service in Orlando and spoke to Lisa and she had no knowledge of the cancellation or refund to be issued. She said she would take care of it. Week later still no refund. Lisa said some forms were needed from the store. Days later she said she went ahead and processed the check. Week later still no check. Lisa then said she had the check in her hands and mailed it herself on 9/1/16. Here it is 9/13/16 and still no check. We need to rally together in front of their stores and warn other consumers and hurt them back in their pockets.

I went to mattress one on 3/26/2016 and I told the salesman(Peter Beckenbach) that I was looking to puchase a cool gel mattress and that I wanted the softest mattress he sells!! after laying on several beds in the showroom I decided to purchase the SIMMONS-2015 RECHARGE (PLUSH) PILLOWTOP KING SIZE MATTRESS. Since it was a major purchase for me to make I told Peter I was going to think about it for a few days....he said well the sale ends today at 6pm and you will never get the mattress at this price again...after talking to my mom I decided to go ahead and purchase the mattress...the mattress was delivered on 3/29/2016. I slept on the mattress that night.It was not a cooling mattress at all and the mattress was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on the concrete outside!!

I called Peter the next day and he told me to give the mattress 30 days to soften up...so I did!! After the 30 days the bed was killing me.

I could barely walk in the mornings! I called the store again...this time speaking to Jeff...he informed me that he was the new manager of the store and Peter had been transferred to a new store. I explained my problem to Jeff and he said I needed to sleep on the mattress for 90 days for it to soften up! So I waited as he asked.I called Jeff and the regional office dozens of times since then! Jeff said he was convinced that my bed was mis-marked and was actually a FIRM mattress! He assured me every time I called every 3-4 days after that time that he was trying to contact someone at the regional office to authorize a swap out of my mattress at no charge to me...but he had not been able to contact anyone to authorize the free exchange.Today's date is 9/11/2016.

after talking to all the people listed above I last spoke with alexis at the regional office on 8/19/2016. she told me that she had spoken to her supervisor and I needed to send her pictures of the mattress which I did!! She then called back on 8/26/2016 and told me that Jeff had not spoken to anyone and was lying to me, there was nothing the company was willing to do to resolve this matter! She said my only option I have is to pay $149.99 additional to exchange my mattress!

So after spending $1068.93 they now want me to pay another $149.99 even if the new mattress i choose is a lesser value to exchange for the bed I was supposed to get in the beginning! This is clearly false advertisement!!! You have nice soft beds in the showroom to try out and then they deliver a bed as hard as concrete! There are NO REFUNDS no free exchange...NOTHING! You can believe that I will NEVER purchase another mattress from Mattress one! They don't stand behind their product and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen! And now after being pressured to purchase the mattress while it was on sale for that price. the mattress is being sold at the same sale price as it was that day. only now you get a free 50" LED HD TV and 2 free memory foam pillows! WOW! WHAT A RIP OFF!

I have called several times to have the store correct the wrong spring box delivery, to no avail. Finally I decided to go to the store tonight, not only because I want to exchange the spring box but also the mattress since it is full of ants. I was baddly bitten after sleeping on my "new" bed .

Need this solve ASAP.

This mattress caves in on either side of the bed there is a hard brace down the middle of the bed so the whold bed does not cave in and they CTA by saying take a picture of your mattress and if their is a 1/12 inch dip in the mattress then they will replace it. There is a brace that is inside the mattress down the middle of the bed so it does not sink in 1/12 inches. By-the-way you cant sleep on the whold bed because of this device that they have inserted inside the mattress. I have two compressed vertebre, I am 76 years old and this treatment is crooked,devious, dishonest,criminal.They probably are not US citizens!

I have a severe medical condition and I need a firm mattress .Simply put they delivered a mattress that sinks way down in the middle clearly they make a practice of this kind of deception.I hve begged and they just shrug their shoulders charge me another $212.00 dollars and deliver another peice of junk! They are crooked as they can be. They are thieves! Ripped me off big time. I even whent back to the showroom and laid on the mattress I picked out and told Mark They did NOT deliver that mattress that I was lying on. They delivered 3 more mattresses and all were peices of junk.Same Problem! Mean while I have alot of trouble sleeping. And they (Mattress One) laughs all the way to their bank. They are crooked as they can be.
