Mattress Firm Reviews

Ordered mattress a year ago that we never got.

The company scheduled delivery and dates with no shows, never answered their phone and no way to contact the company.

Filed a dispute, and mattressfirm claimed they delivered using a fraulent delivery tag.

Our crew never received any shipment/deliver on the scheduled days or any day afterwards.

Beware, this company just lists products they never give you.

Legally blind wife ordered folding cot from store catalog, delivered 3 days later in box. Upon delivery it was determined to be inapprpriate. Box never opened. At first mattress firm refused any return, then tried to impose a $120.00 restocking fee on a $255.00 item. I had to file small claims suit against these crooks to get them to take back their junk and refund the purchase price.

Ultimately mf did refund $, but i'm still out for the court filing fees. Will have to execute on judgment to recover fees. Beware!!! this firm and its staff are only out to sell shoddy merchandise and rip off unsuspecting customers.

Manager had a used mattress sent because he knew it would not be open for several months until home was finished. Called to complain to the boss and he said he was. He used racial slurs saying you people are always complaining.

I purchased a brand new mattress online from Mattress Firm website. In addition to the mattress price they charged me a $99.99 delivery fee. When the mattress arrived it was old, sagging and ripped with loode seaams and threads hanging. It sank in righ away in one night. I could feel the springs and coils in my ribs. I could not sleep on it. My whole body ached in one single night. It was so uncomfortable that I was shocked. I was like a torture bed.

The only way one can claim a return is via their website by filling out a form. When I claimed return they first never contacted me for several weeks. Finally after several weeks their sales woman or rather a customer service nightmare named Ashley Bailey contacted me via Email and phone. She was very condesending and sounded very well aware of the company's unethical practices and fraudulent mattress sales. I sent her pictures of the mattress sagging condition but she told me that she could not see any problem with it and refused a refund. then I sent video clips of the mattress and raised my claim with PAYPAL dispute resolution since I had paid through my paypal account. After Paypal contacted them, the mattress firm agreed to a partial refund minus the shipping costs.

It is not my fault that they sent me a used mattress but still they deducted the shipping cost from my refund. return process took many months, I still have not seen any refund from them posted to my paypal account. Overall, very traumatic experience.

The internet fraud authorities and Better business bureau does nothing to stop this company from ripping off the innocent unweary consumers. The blatant scam goes on. Please never buy from them anything and post advice as to what is the proper legal government authority to report them to so this huge ongoing scam can come to an end and these people should be punished. No one should be above the law.

I stopped in to the Riverdale Mattress Firm store I was looking for a Twin and a Full mattress the twin to upgrade my present bed and the Full for a bed I had built.

I purchased one of each with mattress covers and a pillow, I was told he was giving me a discounted price. But they did not have the Full in stock but it would deliver to my home on the 14th or 16th of December.

I chose to have them both shipped and delivered to my home on the same date.

By the 18th I called the store they said it would be there on the 19th I checked the delivery status given to me via Email from Mattress Firm it said delivery on 19th as well. Again, checked delivery status on the night of the 19th it now said the 20th. Again, checked delivery status on the night of the 20th.

It said, “To be determined” I remarked on the shipping companies website of more or less where is my shipment. 21st They responded that they had gotten a shipping notice from Mattress Firm but never got anything to ship! Called Mattress Firm store again they claimed some screw up but promised they would be in the store for me to pick up by 8:00 AM. on the 24th. I gave them till 10:00 AM. Before showing up, to find them not there.

They clamed it was on the truck and on its way from Logan Utah, I had him confirm it was actually on the truck, he told me it was and would be there within the hour. I told him I would return after 12:00. I called at 1:30 PM. Only to be told that it didn’t come in! I blew a casket on him! told him I was on my way up for a refund.

Getting there at 2:00 PM. The kid I talked to earlier and on the phone was gone (probably hiding in the back) the other guy that seen and heard me in there earlier helped me said he was sorry for the hole mess. He possessed my refund and took the covers back. He asked about the pillow, I told him I had been using in on the floor while I awaited my mattresses and probably would have to keep it.

Now Christmas eve I have family coming in for the holidays with nowhere to sleep, so I am out shopping for mattresses. That night I receive another Email from Mattress Firm congratulating me on the purchase of my new mattresses.

Since then I have been contacted by a Brent at Mattress Firm Riverdale store, he left a message that they had reordered the mattresses and until they got the shipment was returned to their warehouse, they would only refund the price of the covers $64.48. then when they get the mattresses back in their warehouse, they would refund the rest. It has now been more than a week and still have not received the rest of my refund!

Now Brent (now in Park City store) don’t call me back and Dennis “Manager at Riverdale” store don’t seem to have the clout to get my refund processed.

They are selling used mattresses as new in their outlet and mega center stores outlet stores are stores that sell used mattresses mega center sells both used and new mattresses usually bigger location than an outlet store by law every used mattress sold in the United States is labeled as sanitised mattress firm employees remove these tags so the consumer does not figure out the fraud used mattress as usually at least 50% off regular price mattress firm is selling used mattresses as new for full price 10% off.

Also they have to write on the ticket receipt no returns no exchanges no refunds but the employees at mattress firm omit this vital information of off the ticket receipt because if they place that verbiage the customers will ask why are you putting this on the receipt if I purchased a brand new mattress with a 120 day happiness guarantee. Mattress firm owe billions of dollars to the hard working Americans that they scammed I worked for mattress firm for over 3 years I did not participate in this unlawful act I complained to my superiors about this and they did not care as long as they keep getting their bonuses.

On your receipt in the deposition column If you see a P it means prime which is brand new if you see an O it means outlet which means used mattress used goods if your receipt does not say no returns no exhange no REFUND then you are owed money by mattress firm this scam is the biggest in history bigger than ENRON bigger than MADAOFF. Mattress firm must be held accountable for these frauds.

After waiting 2 weeks for my bed to be delivered,I called the store and talked to the Manager to get a refund on the delivery charges for late delivery. He told me it will be taken off my first bill. I recieved my first bill and no refund. I call back to the store again and the manager hung up on me. I then called the Home Office in Houston Texas and I was told to settle with the store where I bought the bed. I am getting the run around.

On 10/08/16 I went into this new to Pittsburgh store called Mattress Firm. Ashley was the only Sales Person there. She told me of the great offer of a Beautyrest Tolliver Hybrid Queen Mattress that never made it out to the showroom floor. $4,249.99, she could giveme half off at $2,099.990 plus the box for $250.00 with taxes $164.50=$2,514.49. I put $500.00 down

On 10/08/16. I go back. The store mgr could tell from looking at me that the mattress was'nt a good fit. I looked like a character off the Walking Dead. He agreed to give store credit or exchange. A Contour Tempur Pedic was $100.00 more. Needed the boxspring for Tempur but charged me only $50.00 and handling fee and delivery plus taxes $13.93 came to $212.93 = $2,398.99. This is how I was got. The $500.00 never deducted from the new total which would have brought my finance down to $1,898.99

This is a Tempur Pedic which honors a 120 night guantee or your money back. Chris wouldn't have said. I have a guantee now. The store tells me they only give a 1 time return. You know I'm contacting Tempur Pedic and The BBB to file a complaint.

Lied to us, and never answered our calls when we tried to get in touch with them about it.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THERE ARENT SLEAZY, LYING SALES PEOPLE WHO WILL TELL YOU LIES TO GET YOU TO BUY.

My boyfriend and I went in to purchase a mattress. We didn't have a lot of money, and looking to purchase a $200-$400 mattress for cash. Our sales associate (store manager) Paul Sutton, said that anyone is approved for credit, even if we didn't have credit. So we applied, and he said we were approved for $1,500 dollars. He said that we would only pay $84 a month, and it would be 2 payments of $42 a month taken out of our bank account. When we looked at the statement online it was $84 every 2 weeks, so $160 a month. He also said that we wouldn't have to pay interest as long as we payed it off in time. Another LIE. It was going to cost us a total of $2,000. We called an ,associate on Monday, who said that the store manager was Paul (our salesperson) and he wouldn't be in til Wednesday, and he would leave a message for him to call us. He never called, and when we called 6 times on Wednesday, during regular business hours, they didn't answer the phone. So not only did the store manager lie to us to get a sale, he won't discuss the matter with us.

We recently bought a Sterns & Foster Split Extra Long Emelia ROse mattress for $4549.99. The sale person told us we could exchange the mattress until we found on which my spouse could sleep on. When we decided we need to try something else we went to the store & we were told we could not exchange for a different mattress because we waited to long.

We gave up & purchased another mattress from a trusted company only to find out that the mattress sold to us first would not work on a adjustable bed frame be it had a built in inner spring section which will not work on a adjustable mattress frame.

Can you suggest anything we could do to reclaim some of the loss!
