1. hired him to waterproof my basement. Paid $1800 up front in July 2016 for "material ordering" for work to be done in October. he said we had to lock in the price for the materials early...
2. He offered to do other odd jobs, all of which cost money in materials to be gotten up front. Several checks given, now 6 months later in spite of numerous phone calls, texts, emails etc etc still no sign of the materials and work not done or only half done.
3. Terrible worker: he measured the windows wrong, he did not check his hired help work installing spigots with result of 3 weeks extensive water damage in my basement and high water bills; got wrong materials on numerous times, made major mistakes. Kept having to go back to the store to exchange things. Not focused. Did not have a list. I finally had to make him a list. He put in spigots without valves and I had to replace them so my pipes would not flood in winter.
4. Completely disappeared on me from november 2017--so many excuses and lies via text it is too long to mention: family member fell down the stairs and needed help at home, he had pneumonia, bronchitis and the flu at least 2-3 times; he is too busy and stressed out, the window company screwed up, he needs to attend family events; serious interpersonal family troubles which needed immediate attention ...In january told me iover the phone:" I have a lot of issues, your repairs are NOT my priority".
5. Curent situation: still owes me money for material ordered. The basement is WORSE than ever, flooding much more than before, half of the work undone so had to hire other people and pay extra. I had to pay people to undo the work he did. He never paid for water damage....

He changed phone numbers half way through: 781 929 7899 and 774 503 1059.
He told me not to use the 20b Chestnut street, East Bridgewater but he had another "business adress": 40R Walpole Terrace, Bridgewater.
He told me to make check out to him personally, not the company as "there are problems with that". He told me not to mail the check to the business adress or home adress, only give personally.
He showed me copy of contractor license, but not of insurance....When I said we will ask the insurance company for the water damages, he said that was not a good idea. I strongly suspect he was not carrying up to date insurance.
All throughout this, I stayed cordial, polite, compassionate and understanding of his numerous problems and personal issues. In short, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in Matt Pace Keenan.
