Called company on 3-24-16, based on the online ad stating that they pump 1000 gal septic tank containg up to 1 ft of sludge/solids, which is normal for a tank serviced every 2-3 years. I ask to give me a range fumping in the event the tank was over filled. I was quoted a price between $140 - $280. I agreed and requested service.
When truck arrived on that same date, the technician said it would cost $400 - $500. I protested. He then went to the truck to contact the manager. He later came back with a price of $300 on the basis of no more than 1 inch of sludge. This was without openiong the tank for inspection. I made it clear that the tank was pumped 2 years ago. He stated that was the price. I said unacceptable. They left..
I called the company to complain the lady said she will talk to technician and manager and for me to call the next day. I called the next day and she said she was not able to talk to the manager and she would call me after she did. I have not received the call as of this date.
