Mary Mead sold herself to me as an honest mother of two that works training and rehoming retired racehorses, and show horses. Me, being the owner of two 15 and 17 year old Appaloosas and approaching 72 yrs old with health issues , fell into Mary Mead's web of lies. Mary Mead and Ed Sexton work throughout Florida and my area in Kentucky soliciting work from local farms targeting widows, and owners getting on at age. Their motive is to pack their trailers with owners loving ''pets'' under the pretense of sending them to their new beautifully adopted homes with green fields and beautiful lakes. Unbeknownst to their victims, our horses were being shipped off to kill pens in Knoxville and Pennsylvania. Mary Mead is a liar and a heartless scoundrel that MUST BE AVOIDED like the plague and trusted under NO circumstances. Unfortunately horse slaughter is not a crime, although committing fraud and theft while obtaining them most certainly is.
Mary Mead using the names of Mary Grace, Mary Sexton or Mary Mead Sexton, or Tammy Creel to name a few, is the same evil, sinister person that sent hundreds of beautiful healthy horses to slaughter for personal profit. Unfortunately, my two gentle loving companions were amongst their victims. I, along with other victims, are now acting together in an effort to expose and imprison both Mary Mead and Ed Sexton , horse thieves.
