I had a pair of silver salt and pepper shakers that I could not identify. After hours of research on the prominant "marks" websites, with no luck, I cam across www.Marks4antiques.com. This site offered a 1 month free trial and the credit card would be charged one month later if the subscription was not cancelled. After 3 days looking through the site, I knew that I couldn't identify my shakers. Since I wasn't likely to use the site again, I sent them emails stating to cancel my account.
On January 12, 2016, my credit card was charged by this faudulent scam company. I sent them additional emails telling them to credit my account etc etc and NEVER heard back. On February 12, 2016, my card was charged again and again I sent them emails to CANCEL. The only return email I have ever received was a generic autoresponder stating they are busy and would get back with me soon. NOT.
I am a member of marks4antiques for over 3 years now and it is the best investment I've ever made. I believe this person has confused marks4antiques with a different service. Marks4antiques does NOT offer a free trial - the minimum subscription is for one month. Additionally, they have teams of specialists that can answer questions for free to their members.
