I signed up to work with Dr. Len and Market Domination Services and was told by their sales person that they had a guarantee that by using their services I would recoup my full investment of 15,000 dollars in the form of new client acquisitions. This guarantee was the only reason that I moved forward with their services because I told the salesperson that if I didn't recoup my full investment that it would create a financial hardship for me and my family. Dr. Len assured me that he would have no problem creating a constant stream of new clients for my business. In the first two months of using his service I did not obtain a new single lead.
I was patient and he assured me that it would still happen. Also, as part of the contract each lead was supposed to be actively looking for the services that I provide. After 6 months he provided a total of 9 leads, NONE of which was looking for the services I offer (insurance, investment and tax). After repeatedly telling him that leads he was sending me were not working out, he tried to lay the blame on me, even though each person I talked to told me straight out that they did not need or were not looking for my services.
I came to find out all he was doing was sending messages to people on linkedin telling them that I had clients that would be a good fit for their business. This was a boldfaced lie, because Dr. Len had no idea who my clients were or whether or not they would be a good fit for any of these people's businesses. When I found out he was being dishonest and unethical in his business practices, I contacted my credit card company to get my money back since he refused to give me a refund.
They obliged since I was promised 20 to 30 new leads per month and only got a total of about 9 leads in almost 6 months. Then all of a sudden he had 88 life insurance leads for me, which he said he was going to send to me and then dispute it back with the credit card company because he had filled his end of the bargain. Little did I know that these leads were a sham. Most of them were bad numbers and none of them had requested information on life insurance like Dr. Len had promised and I recorded each interaction to prove it. In the end, Dr. Len only refunded me half the money and refused to continue to work with me in order to recoup my investment or do the right thing and just refund me the full amount since I did not receive a single client from using his services. He also tried to use a lawyer into strong arming me to taking down a negative review I wrote about his company. I definitely would not do business with Dr. Len as he is in my opinion not an ethical person. Others who I have talked with who have used his services also reported similarly poor results.
Our company has been in business over 30 years and I enrolled in Dr. Schwartz’s marketing system to increase our business which is a Tax Consulting Business with the Guarantee that if we don’t improve our business clients bottom line they owe us nothing.
We used their program for 6 months plus they renewed our service with no prior notification to us and would not refund the renewal amount. In total we spent about $12,500 and did not obtain a single new client. While this service may work for some it did not work for us.
When we complained about renewing our subscription which cost about $2,500, we were told that was too bad and the guarantee they initially offered as an incentive to use their service was not going to be honored, since we did not follow the program exactly as they outlined.
All other companies seem to refund renewal fees when it is brought to their attention that you do not want to renew the service. Market Domination has a great sales pitch, but unless you have the money to risk there may other programs that you may wish to consider. bill biggs – Affiliated Advisors
