Mark Provenzano is a real slick operator. Performed one project in Illinois for him and took forever to get paid. Then he hired us to do another project in Virginia with 50% up front. I reluctantly agreed. The project was in total disarray. we did complete it and then 6 weeks later I am told our work was failing. I spoke with Mark on my way to Virginia from Michigan and he said he was coming there to meet with me and he would stay there until it was completed and he would hand me a check.
Upon arrival I saw the client and/or Mark and/or his guys damaged our work. Upon telling Mark this he tried to tell me that we did before we left. We touched up the project and left. Mark never showed up and to date even after suing him we have not received our check and this was done in 2012/2013. He has consistently ducked us and the sherriff. I see he has several licenses around the country...BUYER BEWARE. He has lost several lawsuits due to nonpayment to subs and dont work for him in Virginia..
Once a Generaal Contractor gets paid in that state all lien rights are relinquished by the subs, and this scumbag knows that. I did visit the store one year after we completed it and it looks like the day we put it in...but he continues to say it is failing. Like I said... he is real slick-hopefully this gets to the right people who can tell me where he is so we can settle this once and for all.
