Marion and Rosenda Chapman aka Tony and Rose are 70+ years old and still try to scam people in 2018 as if they were back in 1960's. They apparently do not understand that simply giving their tenants the wrong addresses will not suffice to shield them from legal ramifications. I was forced to skip trace them in order to serve them a court summons and these people are our supposed "Landlords."
Marion and Rosenda entered into a lease agreement with myself and my wife and completely defaulted on every point. They agreed with us and the U.S Veterans Initiative to have all repairs done within two weeks of our move-in.
However, because Marion is a die-hard Donald Trump advocate, he refuses to hire anyone to do work for him if he is not an "American" which basically meant, Caucasian.
Because of his unwillingness to hire outside of his race, the work was not completed within the agreed upon 2-week time frame. We notified him of our intent to move forward with a lawsuit after an additional 2-weeks lapsed and he yet and still did not complete the work. The work was not completed until 2 1/2 months later. This is after his inebriated contractor, Chris Mcgoldrick damaged our furniture by spilling paint on it and then broke it by dragging it across our living room floor because he and his co-painter, whom he treated like a Mexican servant-boy, were too drunk, weak and trifling to lift it on their own.
Marion and Rosenda were both present at the home when the painters returned the next day and were refused entry by my wife for incompetence. They refused to compensate for damages as did Marion and Rose knowing full-well what had occurred after seeing it for the first time.
Marion then tried to use a dog that belonged to my wife's parents as an excuse to try to evict us. Once he and his dump truck attorney learned that a civil case had been filed, Marion refused all calls and began harassing my wife and I via text and phone, calling from restricted and unavailable numbers. He would call my wife a "Lying b***h" and say that he would come and "kill the d**n dog."
He then accused me of abusing my 17-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter in order to retaliate against my family for filing a civil suit against him. He demanded my wife's parents contact information which we, of course, thought strange.
He was spotted going inside of my house when we were not there and staying in there for a long period of time. Marion has threatened us and shown abuse to his wife in our home and in our presence calling her names such as "Stupid" and laughing about how she gets drunk at the casinos and passes out at red lights.
Marion compared me to the Marine with PTSD who apparently leaped over a fence and attempted to attack the President for some strange reason and garnered much deserved negative attention once this was reported to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Sadly, they also own a nursing facility for the developmentally disabled. People such as these, lacking ethics as they do should not be permitted to work or function in areas such as this. The nursing facility has as well as the owners have been reported to the Nurses Board for investigation and appropriate review as they should be considered incompetent as it relates to providing care.
The case of Criminal Threats and Harassment are being reviewed by the Riverside District Attornies office. Both Marion Chapman and Rosenda Chapman are currently being sued in Civil Court as well.
Avoid both of these pathetic, antiquated con-artists and the people with whom they do business.
