I have been a customer at their first shop Buzz Barber Shop for 1 1/2 years and very happy when John was there. About a year ago the open a new store (Manhood) and John and Manny went over there butit was too far for me to travel. I continued to go to Buzz with not great results but I hoped it would get better. Mark was cutting my hair and I just gave up on hime after 3 trys, he just didn't care what I wanted. I went back and tried the younger barber and he did pretty well the first time so I went back.
On my second try with barber #2 about a month ago he did my hair, was very friendly and when he was done I paid the $15 and gave hime a $5 tip. He did offer me a mirror to check it and I passed assuming he did a good job again. Looking back the chair was turned to a wall behind me and now I know why. When I got home my wife said what happened, there was a completely bald spot 1" by 2"' in the lower back side of my head. I can't imagine how he doesn't say something, anything. I'm sorry, I made a mistake, I can't charge you for this. Amazing, I would call this very dishonest, stealing in my world.
It's be a month and you can still see it. Here's the good part, I call Manny Sanchez two days after the haircut at Manhhod, but he owns both shops along with his wife Angela and he say's, "oh come over here and I'll give you a free haircut." I didn't want anything free, I wanted accountability. I was told by the barber at Buzz that Manny come by only to pick up the MONEY and that he could care less what happens. The guy that cut my hair is still there and nothing changes
I hope that you think twice about either of these shops, Manny could of cared less about my incidend. They work the crowd for great reviews on Google and Yelp and we all know that those are very easy to come by at a public Library. Very dishonest.
