We Had a 2000 4runner that we bought about 5 years ago. It did us well, and saved our lives in a roll over accident. So we were back on the market for a new 4runner. After searching for one for quite some time, and finding a few that we liked, we decided to stop by this dealership because it's got the name "Toyota" in it.
They tried to play hard ball with the deal and ended up sending over a more "experienced" dealer, named Taieb Azzam, because the other dealer wasn't pushing hard enough. This is when we probably should have walked away. Me,""r. Azzam was very condescending about our credit. But the 4Runner was in pristine condition, with a decent amount of miles, only one previous owner, which he boasted about the services all being done at there center, and had the full point inspection with an oil change.
Exactly what we had bought before, from Clyde Revord, which never had any problems. But the vehicle's heater, that Taieb Azzam sold us, went out. When we tried to contact him, he never returned our calls. Within 32 days the gaskets blew. My mechanic looked inside, and found that other gaskets are missing, and the oil was never changed. So we go to Magic Toyota to deal with this issue, and they won't even talk to us.
All they can say is it's "as is". So now we are paying 10,00 and have no 4runner. The general manager, Peter Chung, is now stating there was never an inspection done on the vehicle. And pretty much "sorry for ya" attitude. They don't care about their costumers, or the fact that they keep selling faulty vehicles to his customers. But they are quick to reply to a bad review.
I bought a used Mercury from this Magic Toyota and it lasted 38 days before the transmission exploded and they offered me nothing to make it at least less of a fail but I understand buyer beware but this reall put a dent in my life having no car.
I will NEVER recommend to anyone I know to ever buy from these humanoids and it confirms all the bad will I have now towards nearly everything.
