Magazine SVC called me and told me that they were going to lower my payments to $29.90 per month. I was happy to hear that so I agreed with them thinking I was getting a deal. Well, once the call was recorded the girl talked so fast and was saying something about 30 more months but I couldn't get a word in until the recording stopped. I did agree everything she said on the recording, hesitantly. But afterwards I was not so agreeable. They still billed me for a NEW subscription. The call was on June 28th I believe they said. Well I told them to cancel it when I saw the 1st bill. I called them again after the 2nd bill and they told me they cannot cancel a magazine subscription. They also informed me if I cancelled the subscription I would have to pay approx. $140.00 now. Let's just say these people have no scruples whatsoever! How do you live wit yourself when you purposely cheat people out of money???
This company calls me up explaining that they are affiliated with Publisher's clearing house that they have an amazing deal for just under twenty dollars a month you will recieve over five magazines. Well, I fell for it my bad. Eventually I see that they are charging 40.00 dollars a day to my bank account. I call and there is no represenative to speak with althoughthey were extremely helpful to start off. I have tried communicating with them, but figured I would look up the company and see similiar stories from other's rrecieving no magazines, being charged three or more times a month, and cannot get a hold of someone who works for the company. This looks like the begning of a longbattle for myself.
