To make a long story short I ordered this tile from overseas that appeared to be nothing short of gorgeous in the pictures on their website only to end up with a completely dull, ordinary product. So I basically paid $60/sf for tile that I could have purchased around the corner for $3/sf. This tile is purporedly Italian hand made glazed ceramic tile, but again, what I got had zero depth or variety to it.
To take fault where fault is due, I did not even open up the boxes of tile. I just had the installer open them (we're doing an entire home renovation) and install them while we were away for a long weekend. I came back from that weekend soooo excited to see my new Made A Mano ceramic tile installation only to be disappointed. I wondered, how could this have happened? Going back to their website gallery made me realize that what I ordered was NOT what I got.
After contacting Asa Cooper in sales at Made A Mano to ask for replacement tile, I got no response. After then asking for a refund, I got no response. Stay away from made a mano. They can make all the claims they want, and maybe with a lot of labor they can make handmade tile exactly the way they want it to look for their photographs, but that's NOT what they make for their customers. Take me as the unfortunate martyr for this cause and stay away from Made A Mano tile. What you see on their site is beautiful pictures of beautiful tiles that have nothing to do with what they actually put in the box and send you, the custoner!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! Stay away...
