I stopped in to this dealer because of their trade promise. What they did was 1 would not tell me how much the new car was 2 not tell me what my trade was worth 3 show me my lowest credit score and tell me I would be lucky to get approved. When they brought me the numbers, they were ridiculous, and they told me I HAD to take a warranty and gap insurance to get approved. My salesman "Casy" seemed nice enough, but really did not listen to me and just wanted to talk about how he wished he came to buy a car because he got screwed somewhere else. At first I just decided I could not afford a different car, but then I stopped somewhere else the next day and The payment was 1/2 (250 not 500) and they gave me twice as much for my trade with warranty and gop optional. Obviously I bought the car there.I thought it was illegal to make somone buy extra protection on the cars. This place is a joke.I called the DOT and filed a complaint. It may not go anywhere, but if enough people file, maybe this place will be forced to get in line or move to some other city.
My experience was similar. I read hundereds of bad reviews about these guys, but I was convinced by Jason(liar) to come in and I was approved already based on what I told him for the van I needed. Well, I came in and told this stange guy named Ian that I needed a van because of my sick mother I have to take to treatment. I was there for 5 hours and after rounds of battling with him and some jerk named Brian, they told me all my $3000 downpayment would get me is a Toyota Corolla or something similar. My credit score was 680 according to them and that was not high enough. They would not sell me a van and Brian and Ian were very disrespectful. I am filing a State complaint now. Also, I went to Goben(local dealer) with my situation and they got my a nice Chrysler van with a $300 payment wtill under warranty. It was fast and I felt they appreciated my business. When I was in their waiting area (Mad City Sales) I heard probably 20 people complaining about their cars they bought there that broke and were being charged to fix. Some even had warranties from the dealer that did not cover anything. Brian kept telling me I did not have a choice, I did not appreciate that. i cannot believe this place is still in business! No one should be treated like they treated me. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I had bad credit. Trust me, they tried to get my downpaym, ent, I know I would have been screwed if I gave it to them. I want everyone with similar experiences to post their story. Something has to be done!
