Luxury Home & Glass Solutions, LLC did an impressively poor job installing our impact windows. One of the windows was installed backward, measurements were wrong, and long story short, it did not pass inspection. They had to come back and redo the work in order to finally pass the second inspection.
However, after the final inspection, they were supposed to come back and finish the job - caulk the windows, install missing trims, seal the windows, and install the missing bumpers. They did not bother to come back and finish that. As a result, insects and water can get through the windows that are supposed to be hurricane windows.
The balance outstanding for the job (when finished) was $2.5k. Instead of completing the finishing work and collecting the payment, Michael Romano, the president of Luxury Homes and Glass Solutions LLC filed a lien against us for $6.3k. I assume this is his tactic of trying to get for his poor workmanship more than he owed.
He is doing that to other people as well. Along the way, there were structural damages/cracks caused to our exterior of the house because the windows were measured wrong and they tried to push them in regardless.
Please be vigilant with this company and this person! The only star he is getting from me is for his wickedness and ability to befriend people at the beginning of the job with a promise of a good product. The person is a scam.
