I contacted my Credit Union yesterday to get a phone # for this charge and I received it but the number is not valid. I called my Credit Union today and they said they had no other number for this transaction. I called the 800 # of the first Luxe Skin Rip Off report I read and they could not find me in their system. The rep would not help me find the correct phone # for the one I gave him.
I am at a loss right now of $89.99 with no way as of now to get a refund. I never did a trial with this company and have never received a product.
Advertisement on internet. Luxe anti aging skin cream. I have used it for 1 month. Product does not work. Company automatically withdrew $92.97 from my bank acct for product and has refused to return my money.
Ordered age rewind and luxe skin products from hearing Dr. Oz recomending it. offered up as free trial, just pay 5.95 for shipping. this was was in February. Contacted company via phone number on web site to cancel because dried out my skin and turned it very red and splotchy.
Then in March, sent more product and charged my credit card. called the customer service number again to cancel. Said it would be taken care of.
in April, same thing, except they did not send the age rewind just the luxe skin. Charged my card and I called them again. Once again told me I didn't call the right number to cancel product. This time they refunded a third of my money even though I hadn't ordered anything and never opened the last product. Told me it would be cancelled this time.
May comes around and the same thing happened! Charged me $98.76 again on my card. Called customer service again and was told I hadn't called the correct number to cancel. Got off the phone and cancelled my credit card just so they couldn't charge me anymore money. Didn't know what else to do.
I order 1 product online for 5.98 I received two products in a mail for 5.98 each. 14 days later I was charged 92.97 for each product so now I am out $200 for a product that I have used for 30 days and did not see any results not trying to blame anyone but I should have read the fine print.
I unintentionally purchased a free trial of Luxe Skin Care, intending to buy a totally different item. The link took me to this item. When I received the product, I saw that it contained synthetic snake venom! What?! I figure synthetic venom is either completely useless (think "snake oil") ...or else it IS active -- which is just plain scary. Why would I want to put that on my face!?
I never used the product. I attempted to send it back, but buried in the fine print was a notice that I only had 14 days to return it. Drat! I had missed the deadline -- but I blamed that on myself and figured it was an expensive lesson learned.
One month later, they charge me AGAIN and ship another batch! Now...even if I loved the product, there's no way it would be used up in one month! This too was buried way down in the fine print -- I was basically subscribing to a monthly service. Perhaps this is legal, but it's very deceptive business practices. When I threatened a chargeback, they eventually agreed to give me a 50% refund on the last batch shipped.
Don't buy -- or even try -- this product unless you are ready to commit to months of payments!
