Our kids saw inappropriate things. Our one child was told there were no other outfits available and was left with only one outfit to wear. The designer... it appeared she as though she was a high school student who didn't even design the clothes. The VIP meet and greet? We paid extra, but it was announced after the show that everyone was invited. Who were the VIP's?
Does a bag of Dole salad, 2 pints of macaroni salad and some candy count? They didn't even have enough wine for everyone. They had two bottles. Our kids didn't get anything done to their hair. (We were told a mix up with the fashion school and dates, so no hair stylist. I have plenty of photos and videos of everything if anyone would like them! My kids both had iPads and recorded various things, not to mention my own videos and photos.
Having mingled with the people around us, I know that at least 6 others did not pay for the upgraded front row seats. If the front of the venue was the special VIP area we paid for before the show that was included with the upgrade then everyone there got it. It was like bearding cattle into a cramped spot. We stood there for over an hour waiting. Things were not ready.
We didn't receive the gift bag that was supposed to be included with the upgrade. After the show, we took pictures in front of the banner and by the time we arrived our front to the reception all the wine was gone. We were told that there were only two bottles up front. I don't think we should have had to pay the $247.97 for the upgrade. Do you see my point?
We also purchased package b for $127.97 for the photos and video and were told we would have it about a week after the show. We never received any updates on the photos, I started to email and call a month later. The fashion was February 8 and we still have not heard anything about the photos or video. My 8 and 10 year old daughter was not comfortable having boys change in front of her.
She said she saw things that she shouldn't have but wouldn't elaborate. There were no "chaperones" assigned to hour kids when we left them for 2 hours to get ready. They weren't even going to have us sign them out until I said something. Having travelled 6+ hours, paid for a hotel room for two nights along with all the other stuff just to bring our girls to this fashion show we left very disappointed.
