I had the very exact same experience as the others that have posted before me. DO NOT buy this. I did not sigh up for reshipment. When I requested for a full refund and to return the product, I was told it is "company policy" that they are only allowed to refund 50% of the cost! When I asked for a supervisor, I was told there was no one around, I also asked to speak with a manager and was told that management does not take customer calls. This product states that it has a 100% satisfaction guarantee - now they tell me they can only give me 50% satisfaction guarantee.
I am going to order anything from this company or anyone they are affiliated with ever again and I am blocking this company from making any charges to my credit cards and I am reporting this experience to my credit card company.
I would suggest that if this has happened to you too - you go through all websites that allow a posting for a review and post your discontent.
Luster eye cream does a great job marketing to suckers like me who are getting older and looking for something to turn back the clock. I even looked up reviews and saw a Yscam with a warning about their billing. I thought it had to be an anomaly. I purchased the 2 products for about $5 each. They were called a 10 day trial. I went to the website to cancel, but you must call customer service. When i called, they said it was beyond the trial period so i was billed about $93 each for the 2 products. They would not give a refund. These products did not work even though i followed the directions. Buyer beware!
I sent away for 2 free samples of luster eye serum and luster age defying cream. I gave credit card information for shipping/handling only. I did not accept any additional products. I believed that this was a one time cost for shipping/handling only. I received products. Did not open them and sent them back, within the allotted time which was immediately because of the vile toxic chemicals in the ingredients. Had they showed the ingredients when the customer purchased the product, I would have not even requested the free samples. There was no indication of ingredients. Only says organic on their lying advertisement. Another scam lie!!
I ordered in January, saw that they took the shipping handling out of my account. Now it is March and I just checked my online banking statement and saw that there was a purchase from PCM-Brilliant Eye for $92.77 which I did not authorize. I called this piece of s**t company and spoke to a very rude and condesending representative. She gave me a difficult time about refunding my money stating I received products and never returned them. This was a bold face lie. I asked for supervisior which I was told was unavailable and they would call back later. They did call back later but they had they same b******* story and told me I would be refunded the $92.77 but would not refund me the second payment of $92.99!!! She said it was the company's policy to refund one cost but not the second one of $92.99. She also accused me of having the product and agreeing to continued payments for the products. This again was a bold face lie!!! I asked again for a supervisior and I was told there were no supervisiors and that they would not refund me the second payment of $92.99. In fact the representative I spoke with, Robert would not let me speak and just kept repeating the company policy of no second refunds!! I told him I would be bringing legal action towards the company and he just kept repeating his robotic answers.
This is total theft!! This company is vile and evil!! I wish there would be a lawyer who would take on this case and file a class action suit against this crooks. It is legalized theft!!!! Just reach into their pockets, take their money and accuse them of being liars. Those products were returned!!! Unopened!!! I know they are lying to me about not having received them. This company is evil as is their products!!! And whomever the a****** was that bought into this company on Shark Tank should be sued also!!!Please someone stop these terrorists!!
On January 28, 2018 I bought a face cream and an eye cream on line from a company advertised on Facebook. I was charged $4.85 and $5.97 for shipping even though they came in the same package. Then I had an unauthorized charge of $92.97 on 2/14/18 from VSDMCLL Eyebloom.
This has been followed by another unauthorized charge of $92.97 from PCM Brilliant Eye. The first charge shows a phone number 888-528-4112. The Brilliant Eye shows a phone number 888-895-5218. When I ordered there was nothing that said there would be any charge except the initial shipping charges.
Unlike some, I was told I would receive a refund which never came. I filed a fraud report with my credit card company which Luster disputed stating that I agreed to the terms but I also read it very very careful and no where did it state that Luster would charge full price for a trial size bottle. They then charged my card 3 months later, and will not give me my money back. I order alot online and this is the first company that has done this to me. The company will not take product back either. It is un opened and not used and reading some other reviews it doesnt work anyway.
Don't learn the hard way like I did - this company is a scam. They tout 100% guarantee but when I called customer service for a refund when they shipped without my authorization and charged my credit card over $185 for 2 products, they would NOT refund my total purchase. After about 30 minutes on the phone without ceasing to ask for 100% refund, they would only do a 50% refund and eventually they hung up on me.
I had the same bad experience as others on this website. They initially advertised the products as a sample for $5.97 shipping and $4.95 shipping. After receiving the product, they billed my credit card for $185 for 2 products without authorization. They said that I could not get a credit because I did not return it before the trial date had expired. I insisted on a refund, but only received a cancellation number. I have not used the product so I don't even know if it works. Very bad experience.
An order was placed on December 19 for the Free Sample of Luster Eye Serum and Luster Age Defying Cream. Only shipping was to be charged. Orders were received on December 26. On Jan 2 & 3rd respectively, I noticed charges on my VISA account for $92.97 and $92.99. I immediately called and was told I had applied for a subscription, which I had not. Nor was it written anywhere that I would be charged if I didn't cancel within 14 days of ordering sample. I asked that any subscription be cancelled and a refund processed. I received an email cancelling my subscription but not a refund. I again called on January 25 about when my refund was to be processed and was told there would not be a refund as I hadn't cancelled within the 14-day period. They said when I indicated I would pay for shipping with my credit card, that I agreed to begin a subscription. I did not subscribe and I should receive a full refund from on products. I never received the full products and should not have to pay for them.
I purchased what I thought were trial samples of luster cream and luster eye cream. They were very ineffective. I did not see the word g that if I didn't cancel within 14 days I would be charged the full price which is nearly $100 each and if I didn't cancel within 30days it would be a renewing the 12 month subscription. I had discarded the product as it didnt work. When I checked my credit card bill in January i saw I had an almost $400 in charges. The original order on Dec 6.had been charged the full price of almost $200 on Dec 27 and an addtional months supply had been mailed january 6 because I did not realize I had become a subscriber. 30 minutes on the phone with customer service.only resulted.in a 50% refund of each product for 1 month. I am still out $300. I hadn't even received the second order and could not return unopened. Their email is unmanned and only way to contact is telephone. I requested a supervisor and they scheduled an appointment over 24 hours later. In researching the web page they mention the only way to return is with an RMA so there must be a way to return. Each time I go on their site to see what happens when I push start trial I have gotten 2 different products and not this one. Bellevue and Nuvapelle. I am stuck at the present moment for the entire order I have not received which is unopened which is almost $200 and only received 50% credit for what I thought was a trial purchase that has now cost me almost $100. This should be illegal. Any decent company offers money back guarantee but these companies are scammers as noted by the different product names that come up when you try to order from their site each day. I hope no one else is cheated like this and I wish I could recover my foolish wasted money.
I ordered the trial offer that was supposed to be 14 days, so the ad said, that turned out to be only 10 days (told this by customer service) and thats 10 days from the moment the order is placed, so in actuality once it arrived I was unknowingly down to 4 days. Thinking i had a few days to try this product and decide whether it was for me , when in fact I was already being charged the full amount of 92.97 and 92.99 which i did not authorize, for the 1oz trial offers that were sent.
Upon calling customer service, I am told that I can return the remaining product, I only had the chance to use twice) for a full refund of 4.95 and 5.95( what was paid for shipping and handling) but could not be refunded the amount that was charged when their bogus trial offer ended. Outraged, after hearing this from one customer service rep, I called back and got someone else who at first said they could not refund me anything because the trial had ended, yet I was charged the full amount three days before this.
After an hour on the phone and a few choice words customer service rep #2 has miraculously found a way to refund 46.97 and 45.95 to me, though i would prefer to ship their product back and have the full refund for what i did authorize and the full refund for what i did NOT authorize, I just dont see it happening. Still going to try though. I will not be ordering anything from this company or its affiliates ever again.
