I purchased a "trial" of Radiant Eye Serum / Skin Lush / Royal Serum on April 19. It arrived 9 days later (5 days ago). I tried it and it burned my skin - not such a surprise as many things cause my sensitive skin discomfort or reaction. Today I received a fraud alert from my credit card that a charge of $89+ was made by Lushskin. I called the number supplied by my credit card company and talked to Skin Lush / LushSkin Customer Service. She told me that thd 14 day trial starts when you order - not when you receive it. There is no return policy. This is a total scam - I would like to cover the Internet with messages to consumers to NEVER buy anything from them.
As an aside - besides the burning caused by the product to my skin, it did NOT work as shown in the video. It looked like one of those instant eye fixes... their video showed you waited 2 minutes and the bags suddenly disappear. There was NO difference with use.
Also, the Website automatically ordered for me a second product (Royal Serum) - which I did NOT order. This company should be reported to Better Business Bureau. Tell everyone you know to stay away from them.
This company ran a promotion for a skin product for $4 and after they got ahold of my credit card they charged me $90 and then when I called in to speak to them they refused to reverse the charge. They are crooks. Buyers beware. This company is a SCAM. DON'T get sucked into doing business with these LOSERS !
LUSH refused to refund me for several prodcuts that caused me to have a Severe RASH and facial discoloration they also use lots of oils from NUTS some of us are allergic to they want you to beleive that everything is great for you but they don't tell you it also has lot's of fragrance they also want you to believe that the sticker of TOM on the container personall made the product..which might be true but the sticker covers up a great deal of the ingredients so at a quick glance you do not realize that said cream has walnut oil,olive oil,sunflower oil etc. I tried to return several of the prodcuts I had to the roseville galleria mall store and it was apprent that I had a horrible rash and an eye infection all caused by the use of their products. The 2 employees Daysa made a rude comment about me which she didn't realize that in that small store I clearly heard her and the salegirl who was suppose to be returning the items lectured me on not taking the sticker off the product so they knew when it expired and that it is a big LUSH NO! NO! and that they were taking the items back like they were doing me a favor one of the employees told me to go buy some Benadryl that would help with the itching..So they also gave me medical advice that could have sent me to the hospital. I have high blood pressure and take medication also none of the salespeople are Licensed Estheticians so they have no knowledge of how to cure or prevent anything..I would not spend another dime at LUSH or even walk into one of the stores. I was treated like CRAP!! and refused a Refund!! They just want the money and the salesgirls act like they are you very best friends But wait until you try to return it...They become your worst enemy!! Don't Buy the B.S... I still have facial discoloration,red bumps,and an eye infection got a Dr's appt. AGAIN!! being referred to a Dermatologist and an Opthmoligist which LUSH is getting sent the bill. I filed a complaint with the BBB,Consumer Affairs, and the FDA. I am looking into taking legal action.
I am really baffled by the lack of professionalism! I am a team rep for a competitive cheerleading team, consisting of 36 athletes and 3 coaches-39 total people. Each year, we give our teams good luck gifts as they compete at NCA (Nationals). LUSH had a BOGO sale-and I quickly purchased as much as I could to fill the good luck gifts with for the team. Because they have a limit of allowing you to purchase 40 items at a time, I had to place multiple orders-7 total.
I receive an email stating that all of my orders were canceled due to volume of items ordered. WHAT????? Perhaps they should have CALLED to verify the reason for purchasing so many items---and how about, THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS?! NO-THAT IS NOT THE RESPONSE I RECEIVED.
After sending in all the documentation to "prove" the reason for my purchase, they said they were unable to reinstate the order becasuse they already SOLD the products I had to someone else.
I knew this was completely false. The second the email arrived, I immediately went online. The inventory was NOT restocked. I made sure of it. All Sebastian would say is, "It doesn't show I have the inventory on my computer" I asked Sebastian multiple times to find a resolution to this problem. He said they have a "no bulk buying policy", which I found to be true-EXCEPT you CAN buy in bulk if there is an EVENT-Party, wedding, corporate gifts, etc. This clearly conformed with their policy requirements. Sebastian said, "You should have called to place your order and we would not have canceled it". Anyone familiar with LUSH BOGO sales, there is NO TIME to call-the products sell out in seconds-LITERALLY! The only way I managed to order so many times was by monitoring the site over the course of SEVERAL days. I LITERALLY BEGGED HIM to find a solution to this issue. Asked that he call the warehouse to check on inventory, place a call to a supervisor-something.....but DO NOTHING? He had a young girl call as a "manager"- Elizabeth said she was a "manager in training". That was a worthless call.
I just checked my credit card statement. the $1,500+ in products purchased have NOT been credited back to my account yet either!
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS ACUMEN IS PATHETIC! BEWARE!!!! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.
