Prior March 19, 2019 I got an imposter offer [email? or on Amazon when I was purchasing something else?] from Amazon thanking me for being a customer and offering a choice of 1 of 1/2 dozen gifts. I'd pay shipping cost only.
I read everything carefully! Opted out of 3rd party offers. There was no mention of trial periods or further charges. I chose & ordered.
Then got an email receipt for "2" items with "separate" shipping charges! I called them the next day and got resistance to my wish to receive "only the 'gift' item, and nothing else"!
They secretly started a 14 day trial period count-down. I got the item 1 week later, tried it as instructed, looked like I aged 3 years, then looked them up online. They had 3 sites [.org, .net, .com] with heavy advertising and "no contact information" apart from ordering. I searched specificly for scams by them, only to find they advertised under those tags as well!
Then on Apr. 4, my bank notified me of a charge of $89.97 by SRISUMDAILYSKIN.
They did NOT send a receipt to me!!
I called the bank, the vendor and Amazon. Amazon said they never sent a gift offer, and the vendor [on phone call] claimed that my trial & returns time expired, hence the charge. Amazon & a bank rep. tried getting them on a 3-way call, just to have the vendor CS rep. hang up promptly.
I fell for the same con, the creme is very smooth but makes zero difference. Then I see the $89.97 charge, this time from BrimleyMuscle! Also 3 more charges of $9.78 since then! Now I have another jar of creme which I'm returning, but none of the phone numbers or websites exists. They all return to these publicly traded domains, that don't actually do or own anything but give cover to scam operations like this one.
I'm mad that I fell for it, but my bank is investigating and has frozen the charges. Let's see what happens?
This is worse, then worse...All the phone numbers on my bank statement are no good. I could not even call to cancel this ..I found a working number on the bottle of junk that is I-877-384-5380.. I did get 2 people,but both very rude. I was told I would not get my last charge back unless I had a banker call in with me.
I am out 357.88. I don't understand how they can have stupid names and phone numbers. They don't even care if you are livings on Social Security. We have a sick world, we need to stop slapping them on there hands and put them away until everyone is payed back.
