LuckyVitamin Dishonest Company

Around 8/23/2019 I made a back-order because they said it will be back in stock within a week. Then they extended it to 3 weeks. Finally after a month I contacted them to cancel. The response was something to the effect like "sorry about that" but nothing about it cannot be cancelled.

Fast forward 3 months later 11/25/19 they sent out this cancelled order without authorization and demanded money from me. When i told them this order was cancelled 3 months ago they responded that back orders cannot be cancelled so I have to pay for it. Then after payment they will take 3 weeks to check things around before refunding money for unauthorized shipment. Told them they are not getting a cent from me and I'll file fraud complaint on them. Then, they quickly changed their tune with saying "just refuse shipment and send it back". I will never do business with them again.

Horrible company, requires you to call 1.your credit card company, 2.Visa merchant verification, and requests you do a 3 way call to Visa and THEN to Lucky Vitamin as they "cannot make the 3 way call themselves" to verify a first time order of $123.48. Wow. I guess to this pitiful company that amount is like thousands of dollars. Btw, both my CC company and Visa told me they had never heard of a RETAILER requesting a customer obtain the transaction/authorization code from them, I was told the merchant retailer is supposed to verify themselves through Visa/Mastercard merchant services. Lazy Lucky Vitamins! They refused to ship my order even though my CC company supervisor verified the transaction went through and was already posted to my account FOR DAYS. Lucky Vitamin said they were holding my package (in some kind of hostage situation) until I obtained this fictitious authorization code which NO CC nor Visa Merchant services was willing to give out nor do a 3 way call with Lucky Vitamin. Lucky Vitamin's "supervisor" also suggested that I try to pay via Paypal, WTH!!! I earn cashback from my CC, why in the heck would anyone use Paypal??? My CC company told me this sounded suspicious and placed Lucky Vitamin on their FRAUD WATCH and disputed the charge while giving me a refund immediately! Oh, and the kicker? I bought the SAME 4 bottles in the SAME quantity counts from another online vendor for $23 savings, I only paid $100.91 for the SAME ORDER saving myself +$22.57!!! Oh, and my over 20+(!!!) requests to cancel my account altogether has so far been ignored. I will file a complaint with my attorney general as well as Pennsylvania's attorney general's office, where this "company" is located! Thank God I disputed this order and saved myself 22.57%!!!

This is an online business that has unethical business practices, but led me on to make a sale into believing I was getting the product on a timely manner, when all said and done they were not sure and never got one, just your typical run-around). Here is the scenario, I will try to be brief and straight to the point;

Made a purchase for the product online back in 10/18/16, well knowingly it was back ordered for 8-10 business days. Which I have the email from them stating just that. With that said, I phoned them. Talked to Mark S. about when i truly would expect the product and he looks on the website and states what is on the website. I ask you don't know when its coming? He goes off on a rant about the definition of the word “estimated” and on how it could be 10 days or 2 months. Really? I asked to speak to supervisor, he told that the supervisor left for the day. I asked, you mean there is no one in charge there to speak to, and he responds, yes.

10/31/16 I emailed them again about it and got a response from Fred M. that items expect to arrive to their warehouse on 11/04/16 and that I should be aware of shipping delays, but “rest assure we will ship out as soon as the items arrive”. I contacted them because I went to the manufacturer website and they have it in stock, in fact when I contacted them. They were out of stock themselves before, but have had stock in the last week.

11/01/16 I get an email from LuckyVitamin.com for the status of my back order stating this:

“Here's a quick update on the status of your order. We're sorry to say that item(s) you ordered are still temporarily out-of-stock. We currently have additional quantities on order. Sometimes there's a manufacturer out-of-stock or product update which may have caused the delay. As soon as we receive it, your order will get priority attention!

We expect to ship your order within the next 30 days. Be on the lookout for an email from us notifying you that your package's journey has begun. We truly appreciate your business and are doing everything we can to get your box of wellness quickly to your doorstep! “

I didn't read that email until 11/04/16 came and went. I emailed them after reading that email sent to me on 11/07/16 asking when I am going to get my product. Got a response the next day from Samantha B. whom herself and every person I communicated with there as a “Happy Wellness Ambassador”. She tells me that the manufacture gives them updates time on a week or two and unfortunately we are not provided with that date yet. I emailed back that same day demanding a response to when I will receive the product and got a response the same day. Guess who responded, the person I spoke with on the phone in the beginning, Mark S. Telling me he unsure why they don't have the product if the manufacturer has it. Then stated to contact the manufacturer to find out and then notify me by phone or email.

11/09/16 I emailed them again, and got Mark S. again. He says he “emailed “them and is waiting for a response. I respond, with “Tsk, tsk, you should have called, defeats the integrity of your business for waiting on answers”. Got an email from them later that day from a Damikka M., thanking me for my feedback and that she will send it over to management for further looking. I responded that same day, stating my opinion about the company about how useless it is and unfair business practice they are performing on me, misleading me into a sale, etc.

11/15/16 I got a response from Damikka M. stating;

“This email is in response to Ticket #160386.

Thank you for your email.

Upon looking at your order in our system, I see that you have already spoken to one of our Happy Wellness Ambassadors regarding this inquiry.

If this matter has not been resolved and you still need additional support via email, please let us know.

“ Hmmm, she was the last person I spoke with that took that long to respond. Needless to say, I am still in the dark to when the product is going to get to me.

11/16/16 I get a back order email status update stating;

“Here's a quick update on your recent LuckyVitamin.com order. Due to manufacturer supply issues, the item(s) you ordered below remain unavailable. We expect to receive a shipment shortly, but haven't yet been given a definitive arrival date. We'll be among the first to receive a fresh supply from the manufacturer as soon as it's available. Once we receive a shipment, your order will receive top priority.

Please know we greatly appreciate your business and are doing everything we can to get your box of wellness quickly to your doorstep!” Of course I emailed them .This time stating that I have had it with their incompetence, and went ahead and bought it from the manufacturer themselves. Which the difference is $35 and 1 month late! I kept with them because they use words, which I now know they do not know the meaning of.

11/18/16 I get a response from a Samantha B. and she replied with

“This email is in response to Ticket #164174.

I am so sorry for the troubles and I completely understand your frustration. We go based off of what the manufacturer is providing us with. If they for any reason have production delays or have issues getting the new shipment in on time, they will delay the date. We cannot guarantee anything because the date is subject to change. I know that it is a pain to wait so long for a product that you were expecting us to get in. I have gone ahead and issued you a $10 voucher that you may use on your next order for the inconvenience. You will receive the voucher via email within 24-72 hours. The voucher must be used for a phone order. The code will not be recognized if applied online since you do not have an registered account online. Please let me know if you have any additional questions, I would be happy to help. Thank you for your time and patience.”

11/26/16 I get an email from them stating that my order has been shipped! WHOA! I emailed them telling them I did not authorize them use my card!! They felt since they didn't charge my card until item was shipped that can get away for doing the things they do. However, it itself violates there own terms after 30 days of an item on back order. When I asked by one ambassador if I wanted something alternative, I declined and stated I will buy it from the manufacturer instead. My intentions was to do a two month program before the new years. After I email LuckyVitamin.com, I contact my credit card company and told them about the unauthorized transaction in regards of this. I told them pretty much what I wrote here. Capital One reimburse me the loss of funds and opened an investigation against the business. Having the emails to prove everything!

12/02/16 I get an email from LuckyVitamin.com, Azariah R. ambassador replied; “I do apologize for the inconvenience. Your back order item shipped on 11/28/2016 with an estimated delivery date of 12/05/2016. “ Along with a picture of the tracking of the package too. However I was never supplied with a tracking number from them.

This is the problem with our economic market, either we outsource our funds out of the country and then we have online businesses located in the country going the least effort and unethical ways to make $1. We the consumer are the ones taking the risks now to spend money on businesses? Very confusing way of business practice now, when they teach you that businesses are the ones that take the risks.

If had a title in my job as an ambassador and I had a customer like myself that not only was lied to from the company I am spending money to, but manipulate the way you shop with them so that, they are not responsible for anything, but in the end keep their profits. Its in their terms of service. I am in the gray area, because not only the didn't charge my card until the order was shipped, but I had to sign up with them in order to get the product and get their “MEMBER” discount as a first time buyer. Even though the item was originally back ordered when I purchase, do I still fall under their terms of service? I mean throughout the whole time, not one did I ever get an accurate response detailing to my ongoing complaint, to “WHEN” I am suppose to get my product.

I do not like businesses like these, that do the least amount of effort to make a profit, then when problems arise, point fingers at someone else that its there fault. Even though I could buy it from the manufacturer, but this company sold me on their service and what they do for members with using words, like “satisfaction”, thus me saying earlier, don't think they know the meaning to the words they use. Their actions speak louder than words when it comes to business and I can express my opinions on the whole thing, but like I said, it speaks for itself. What would make my day, is to file a lawsuit against them to gain ownership of the company and then shut it down. Putting them out of work, out of jobs to serve a point. Not to mean, to actually maybe it will sink in their heads that the job, you are being paid for, are not doing it, thus why should you be paid? Might as well hire homeless people, at least I would have expectations, but at least they will have a roof over their heads. The point is many perspectives when it comes to consumer affairs within the online market.

There is no control, words are cheap and the customer is now wrong. Retail stores don't force a terms of service use upon their customers, otherwise Walmart would be out of business. Its nice our own government wants to dictate and control us to what they make profits on in regards of our health, but when it comes to the “DOLLAR”, it is evident they truly do not care!

*****I invoke to impliment a law for the buying consumers in the online market in the country of USA(like AZ has no problem charging tax on purchass online now, like Netlfix). Whereas onlines business can now longer give you the run around to make a sale. If you do not have the product, nor perform the service, but another business has one; the consumer has the right to not only know that, but be able to purchase it from them. Businesses are the ones suppose to take the risks, so when a business screws up on something; is right to inflate your prices to compensate your incompetence at the workplace? With saying that, when banks screw up, why are they only to say "We apologize for any inconvience may have occured" and thats it. Yet, when my checking account has x amount of funds and i spent somethig that was more than what i had in my checking. Is it ok for them to charge me a over draft fee well knowingly there is thousand of dollars in my savings? See the point, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and are assuming things are getting done, besides following through with it. Technology has made american workfore really lazy and this business Luckyvitamin.com proves my point and why they should be held accountable for their mistreat and unethical practices to rape their customers into thinking false hopes. If its one thing that should be known, living in a capitalist soociety here in america, it is a consumer driven market; not a business. Without consumers, you have no business to be in business!
