My car which IS registered with the apartments along with my resident parking tag inside(that's visible in the dashboard)has been towed. I spoke with the manager at "The Solaris" and before the towing company even sent the photos over the manager even stated that she knew and saw that our tag was visible. Before leaving to the towing company I called them numerous of times asking who towed,why,and what time. The towing company told me that they will not tell me anything until I pay.So I rode the bus and the train to get there being told I was going to pay $165 and I get there I'm being told I have to pay $185. So I went ahead and payed nearly $200 to get my vehicle out once that was said and done the lady in the front that was working around four pm on 10/17/16 stated that we could have gotten the car out for free if we would have told them that the resident parking tag was visible in the car and she would have checked.
So I tried to get a refund and I was told I'm not getting anything back. I've missed out on work(2 jobs).That's how I pay bills and PAY MY RENT ON TIME EVERY MONTH! My car has also stopped in the middle of a busy intersection endangering my life as well as the passengers with me. Who's to know if they went inside of the car (because it was unlocked when I went to pick it up) and tampered with it.I need to know who's going to reimburse me of the money I paid to a towing company that should have never took my car. If no one is going to reimburse my payment I'm sure that you will credit my account and offer a credit to the rent I pay On time. I am going to file a small claims suit against the towing company as well as well as the property for my pain time and suffering. I missed out on 14 hours of work from two different jobs combined. Now I'm not asking you to reimburse my time and money from work. But my money refunded from the towing company. What I find not acceptable is the fact that that particular towing company starts at 3 am why on earth did they tow my legally parked car at 11:41 pm?
