Charles Cranston is a full blown LIAR. He signed me up with Encore and now with his new company Lone Star Payments in Lubbock, TX. He was extremely persistant and switched me to his new company. After contacting his new company because my bill has more than DOUBLED, they said he was fired due to fraud!!! He will not answer any of my phone calls or returned messages. His new company is just as bad. They have no office and have 0 support and are holding a huge cancellation fee over my head. It has been a terrible ordeal and to say the least I have buyers remorse. I am going to have to pay the cancellation fee and move on but I want others to beware. Do not do business with Charles Cranston or LoneStar Payments!!!! He is a liar and a full blow scam artist!!!!
Lone Star Payments in Lubbock is a terrible company!! Lone Star Payments Sales Manager, Charles Cranston, solicited my business and informed me that my machine was not compliant and I needed a new machine. I said no mulitple times but his persistence finally paid off and I allowed him to do a comparison against my current company.
Results after switching to Lone Star Payments!!
1. Took 2 weeks to get my new machine and it was the same machine I had with my current company!
2. My bill has nearly doubled and I have a $395 cancellation fee from my old company. Charles promised he would pay this cancellation fee and has never answered ANY of my calls or voicemails since delivering the terminal.
3. Lone Star Payments office number rings and rings. They have absolutely 0 support.
I finally figured out after receiving a statement that Lone Star is a sales company ''middle man'' for World Pay. World Pay informed me that I know have a $495 cancellation fee with World Pay. My bill doubled, I received the same machine i previously had that was told was not compliant, and Charles Cranston, ie Lone Star Payments is no where to be found. THIS WAS THE WORST BUSINESS DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. I AM NOW CANCELLING WITH LONE STAR AND PAYING $495 AND CRAWLING BACK TO MY OLD COMPANY.
IF YOU ARE CONTACTED MY LONE STAR PAYMENTS OR MORE IMPORTANTLY "CHARLES CRANSTON''......... STAY AWAY!!!!!! HE IS EXTREMELY UNETHICAL AND IS TERRIBLE FOR ANY BUSINESS. I REGRET THE DAY HE WALKED INTO MY BUSINESS!!
