This company does nothing and is paid millions of dollars by the state of new jersey. Nothing but complaints, investigations, and bad news reports from around the country and corrupt New Jersey renewed its contract. I can call for my own transportation and make demands when they show up late or not at all- now the logisticare middleman requires you call them and nothing happens. I was stranded in the doctors office and they had to call for 3 hours to try and get me home after a procedure. I wrote letter to NJ senators about logisticare (they need to be called uncare), NJ.com and new 12 did negative reports on them and they still have a multi-million dollar contract for providing zero services.

I started requesting bus cards so I could be assured I get home. Now the logiticlowns in altanta want the phone operators to call to confirm all appointments.

OK that is fine, but they will not stay on the phone long enough to confirm the appointments. I spent 3 days on the phone with logisticare and could not get my bus card because they would not wait for the office to answer the phone. They stated medicaid requires that they do this and the state says they did no such thing, now I was told it is a logtisticare policy. Logisticare does nothing worth the millions they are paid, and now they have a policy to even screw up the bus card process.

I get the bus card because logisticare is unreliable and their contracted drivers never show up or show up in a broken vehicle. I had one transportation company show up in a van that was smoking like it was on fire and fumes filled the car...and was one hour late to pick me up. Hence the bus card, and now they are making it so difficult to get the card so as to force people not to call for it anymore. That trick will not work as I am filing complaints with every agency in New Jersey until this is resolved or the contract is canceled with logisticare.

I saw Tabb Hunter who to my knowledge was supposed to be barred from the property arrive at my dialysis clinic around 11 am. Upon seeing him I let the facility receptionist know that Tabb Hunter was on the property. Eugenia (facility receptionist) proceeded to leave her desk and enter the lobby as Tabb Hunter was entering the facility. Eugenia walked by his side by side as he was escorting a patient from the lobby. After that Eugenia left the lobby. Two patients (one who he was picking up and another patient) were outside having a conversation when I heard him tell one of the patients that I didn’t get him banned from the property, and in a reference called me a punk a*s b***h and a punk a*s n****r. I, however, did not say anything to that driver to warrant such childish remarks.

2pm

After making a few complaints through the Medicaid department and Logistic Care I finally got in contact with Ed, the Regional Manager of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area to inform him about what had occurred. Ed in return told me it was” he say she say”, and pretty much was brushing off my complaint. I in return brought up what he said about my original complaint filed on Nov. 9th how he said that was he say she despite not only having Alma(part-time charge nurse at DaVita Lake Cliff) and a Logistic Care representative both confirming that they heard him yelling and cursing me out (Was told that corrective action was taken on the driver 1/15/19). I have family members who from time to time come up to DaVita and spend a treatment with me. What would have happened if a family member was there and saw what happened on that day? Hearing a driver use profane, homosexual racial words to describe a patient he no longer has anything to do with it causing conflict. Ed responded that” he didn’t like my tone, I have no reason to be mad at him” and ended our conversation by saying “you do what you have to do, I already know what I’m going to do”.

Since driving with Logistic services, I have been:

Left with no ride home after treatment (2017,2018) Real Time, Four Wheels, Wheelchair Roads

Having to wait 2-6 hours to get a ride to/from treatments and appointments (2016,2017,2018,2019) Real Time, Wheelchair Roads, D&T, Romnii, Four Wheels

Cursed at by drivers (2018) Wheelchair Roads, NuVision Transportation

Having drivers, no show dialysis appointments (2017,2018) Real Time, Wheelchair Roads, NuVision Transportation

Having drivers threaten physical violence (2018) Wheelchair Roads

Put out by drivers in below freezing temperatures (2018) Wheelchair Roads

Had my head slammed into the door while being loaded into Wheelchair Roads vehicle

(2018)

Rode in vehicles that weren’t insured, had no brakes, and no seatbelts

(2016,2017,2018) D&T, Wheelchair Roads, Romnii Transportation

Also included in this updated compliant is the smear complain Logistic Care is attempting to attack my character after informing them that I plan on suing:

“We have received the above-referenced complaint and reviewed records relevant to the complainant. LogistiCare Solutions LLC ("LogistiCare") is a transportation brokerage company that arranges non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid and Medicare eligible individuals in the state of Texas under contract with the Texas Department of Health to provide transportation to Medicaid recipients to covered health care appointments. Mr. Anderson's complaint alleges that on numerous occasions LogistiCare transportation providers have been late picking him up, have failed to show for scheduled rides, and have verbally mistreated him.

In an effort to address Mr. Anderson's complaint an investigation was conducted. I am advised that Mr. Anderson has filed 16 complaints against multiple transportation providers including 4 provider no show complaints, 4 provider late complaints and 8 complaints alleging some form of unprofessional behavior. Mr. Anderson has also refused to be transported by three separate transportation providers. LogistiCare apologizes for the inconvenience resulting from the transportation provider late shows and no shows. LogistiCare Texas Regional Operating Manager has addressed these issues with the corresponding transportation providers and will continue to take escalated action should there be additional issues or concerns. LogistiCare Regional Manager has also personally contacted Mr. Anderson via telephone to speak with him about his concerns.

Pursuant to the investigation I am also advised that on multiple occasions Mr. Anderson has used abusive and inappropriate language towards LogistiCare associates and transportation providers, has provided false information that has been verified as inaccurate by Mr. Anderson's medical facility and has had two transportation providers refuse to transport Mr. Anderson, accusing him of verbally abusive behavior.

While LogistiCare will not tolerate verbally abusive behavior towards its associates or transportation providers, LogistiCare will continue to work with Mr. Anderson to identify a reliable and satisfactory transportation provider within Mr. Anderson's service area. Unfortunately, Mr. Anderson's preferred provider, Star Transit is not within the covered service area and cannot continue to transport.”

First and foremost, one of the companies is Four Wheels and I was told by the driver that he would call Logistic Care to tell them that they could no longer transport me due to my size (6ft 8in) and that I couldn’t fit into their vehicles. Real Time being the sister company of Four Wheels is the 2nd company that refuses to transport me cause the facility charge nurse went at it with one of the drivers on my behalf who was two hours late. I road with a driver named Will with Romnii Transportation who told me that he reported to Logistic Care what the charge nurse did, but I am the one getting slander and accused of things I did not do.

I had to leave my previous dialysis clinic to go to another because Ed told the social worker that I could get me to my appointments sometimes and sometimes he won’t be able to call it a 50/50 chance is what he said. I spoke with Medicaid and from what I was told the information he was giving to not only myself but to the social worker was false. I was told in the past that due to me having so many companies on my exclusion list that it would be difficult to find someone to transport me. To my knowledge as of today the only companies on my exclusion list are:

Wheelchair Roads

Real Time

Four Wheels

(October 2018)

Dallas/Ft. Worth have about 20 companies, but when I asked Jessica (the person who accused me of cursing her out) with LC if she would have another company pick me up, she responded no, she’s not about to have another company from somewhere to pick you up. I have four companies to choose from and she would continue to schedule Wheelchair Roads despite me asking to never ride with them. Jessica was true to her word, and Wheelchair Roads continued picking me up most of the time coming 1-1:30 mins from my pick-up time. Sometimes they would have to cut my treatment short due to me arriving late which is very dangerous. I tried speaking with Edwin the owner of Wheelchair Roads, nothing happened. I tried calling LC again to explain to them what has been happening, and still nothing. I had Wheelchair Roads on my exclusion list several times, even warned LC about what would happen before it happened, and still nothing.

Logistic Care has several lawsuits pending throughout the United States for the same thing I’m currently going through which proves old habit die hard. It’s kind of hard to want change and to get change when those who are in charge are corrupt themselves. Regional Manager Ed said he welcomes outside agencies to come and investigate, I don’t know if he’s calling my bluff that I wouldn’t take things this far, but I wouldn’t. I had to file two police reports one over the threats caused by driver Tabb Hunter (Wheelchair Roads), and again on 1/26/2019 against Tabb Hunter over bullying and harassment. All I want is to be treated with respect, get to and from my appointments in a timely manner, and have my concerns addressed. Bullies and those who practice using racial terms should have no business whatsoever dealing with those who are ill/terminally ill. To have Tabb Hunter and Logistic get away with what they are doing would be borderline criminal. Hopefully, at the state level, I will find someone where my complaints won’t fall on deaf ears. I should not feel the need to bring a weapon with me for protection, get a restraining order, nor should I have to file police reports just to have a dialysis treatment.

I was told in the beginning that they would do everything to help me succeed at Logisticare and that I needn't be too concerned about making mistakes in the beginning because everyone does. They had me listen to several experienced employees on the phone, just to get an idea of how to handle the calls. My supervisor and team leader, Syd, was very nice and gave me all the encouragement he could muster in the beginning. I was feeling just great due to the nice friendly atmosphere and I really gave it all my effort to try and get started on the right foot. Well, the euphoria didn't last too long because Syd booted me out of there after just three days, with no warning. He very sneakily called the staffing service and said he didn't want me there anymore. That was after just three days on the phone, after assuring me that they would give me a chance to succeed and that I would get all the help I needed. When I confronted him, he had nothing to say to me, essentially giving me bogus reasons that had nothing to do with the facts and the effort I was putting forward. What happened to the 'chance' they were supposed to be giving me, to succeed as part of their team? Three days on the phones isn't really much of a chance. Thank you Syd for giving me the chance you promised, with your warm, positive and upbeat persona that turned out to be so phony and backstabbing! For myself, this was a very negative reflection on Logisticare Solutions of Phoenix. Now, the staffing service won't send me on any more assignments due to Syd's request for them to terminate me from this assignment after just three days. This came without warning, as I was given nothing but positive strokes. Once again, thank you Syd!

Logisticare is a rip off! I have Amerigroup Medicaid Texas also called Star Plus which is supposed to support my rides to my appointments and i am mentally disabled with Schizoeffective disorder. As of now i am currently 39 weeks pregnant with my son and have needed Logisticare to make it to my pre natal apppintments and psychiatric appointments every three months. They often get my information wrong and so confuse their own drivers as well as the drivers being unprofessional by making me late enough to some appointments i risk having to reschedule. And not only those issues but today after i got home from a pre natal appointment they tell me my husband who rides with me and makes me feel safe as well as helps me during my pregnancy can no longer ride with me unless i get my doctor to sign a form. Im not very social and fear strangers and he makes me feel safer the drivers are always weird to me. Not only that they also said i will soon have to ride the city bus after a 30 day grace period. This has never happened before and I've used them for a couple years now. I tried to get medicaid to see what was going on and even the medicaid lady wondered why all of a sudden do they do this to me. The Logisticare woman she spoke to on my behalf said it wasnt new but to me it is! I feel i am being alienated and mistreated. Ive called to report bad drivers as needed but never posed an issue with them. Drivers have even failed to show up in the past! Its not fair to me. And my insurance should cover the rides. A bus for me being schizophrenic really worsens the situation for me as i dont like people and often dont leave my home but for appointments and when i absolutely have to. I barely met my husband and he understands and comforts me. These people are abusing the system by treating us like this and other insured patients.

I' am a women business owner of a non-emergency transportation company out here in Broward county Florida.

I am now a subcontractor for a major broker logisticare but during the process of getting a contract written with them i went thru hell and what i felt was descrimination the whole way thru. noticing later that it is a male run and dominated industry with transportation providers being owned majorly by men.

This kind of business success is determined by the volume of trips being sent daily but i find myself begging for trips everyday regardless how many times i have requested the same amount. They wont care less..... sendind half and even sometimes no trips at all.

I have professional drivers and only hire the best. very reliable and caring drivers.

I have brand new vehicles 2017 that drivers love to work with.

My company is new but the it is managed by experienced people and due to this my company is aware that another provider in this county is being thrown about 1,000 trips per day leaving some members left behind and waiting for hours at a time before getting picked up again to get home by the same drivers who drpped them off.

I mean, some of these members are in wheelchairs and yet they have to wait for hours for this other transportation company to come and pick them up.

This broker appears to rely only and only on this particular transportation company in this company.

many drivers from that company already have tried to apply to work for my company because they are being swamped by the number of trips given daily and yet i am here begging everyday for them to send me trips and still i am given a ridiculous amount. I have emailed the manager, regiional manager and the dispatcher for trips including bringing in more vehicles into my company in order to be more viable in this county and no response.

For approximately a year I have been submitting a medical nessecity form to Logisticare repeatedly, unnecessarily. Each time that I have submitted this form, it has been proofread and throughly completed with all necessary requirements; by a medical professional. The company (Logisticare) gives the greenlight. Everything seems to be in the clear. My requests for car service to scheduled appointments are approved. This will be progressive for a duration of a week or two, at most. Suddenly, as if routinely calculated - I am once again denied service due to the now famous apparent lack of submittal of a medical necessity form. Namely, the 2015 form. This company is frustrating. I find it darned near impossible to have been through the motions about 5 or 6 times now, and still have this mysterious event continually transpire - of the out of sight 2015 form. The mystery of the form that never seems to be processed, despite numerous effortful attempts. I am doing everything in my power to be in the clear with this company. To no avail. It is an injustice that I have to bare the consequences of these folks not getting something done right on their end. I am curious, and frustrated with this company, and the ever constant mystery of the 2015 form floating around somewhere, out there in the ether. Somehow, not making due at the desks of those whom have a responsibility to deal honestly with the consumer. Be wary of Logisticare.

I stopped using this company only a week and a half after it took over suffolk county ny. Its the worse. Im trying to get the word out how bad this company is and how suffolk county ny residents who need med trans should fight to get suffolk county ny to reinstate the contract back to the county not a fly by night company with complaints all across America in every state. When this company first took over i had a hard time booking trips since now you can only book trips three days in advance not the day before up to two pm like the old company. I get asked so many detailed questions just to book one trip everytime i call. The old company just asked for my medicaid id and where i was going. Now i struggle to answer fifty to 80 questions to book one single trip like whats my drs full name, office name what other drs is with him, his office ID number his buildings ID number, spelling of his title, and his full zip code ect. Some drs are brand new and i dont know all this info off the top of my head. Its their job to find out drs ID numbers and stuff not be lazy and rely on me to do it for them. Just the location and what taxi i use was all i needed with the old trans company, thats it! And one time i was rudely called at 6 am in the morning by logisticare because the day before, after answering many, many, many questions they lost all the answers so had to wake me up at 6 am to disturb me and coldly without consideration began asking me the fifty to 80 questions i had already answered the day earlier as i was half asleep! It pissed me off and woke up my house.

After struggling thru that i suffer with short term memory loss so i have to remember many different reference numbers now. I forget them everytime and it seems pointless to use. And hard for people who are elderly and like me who cant remember where the bathroom is, to now exactly remember a long line of numbers. Ive missed so many appts because of the three day to book rule and the taxis always showing up late or never at all, also logisitcare not caring a dam to get me there on time. I still tried to adapt to their corporate strict standards and policies thats made for companies not sick people. I had a procedure done to my sinuses which caused me to bleed tremendously and i had to stand in the street in 90 degree weather to wait for the cab bleeding and in great pain i almost died of a heart attack that day and was weak. I called every 45 minutes because the cab never came. Two hours later the cab was still late. I called logistic care and told them its hot im bleeding to please find the cab. The male person on the phone mocked me laughing then rudely told me if i didnt like waiting for the cab i should just walk home. I was 11 miles from my house and to weak to move. I was forced to call a local taxi and I got home in less then 22 minutes. I felt horrible after that day, and im lucky to be alive. The old transportation company was fast, easy and i was done booking many trips in five to ten minutes. Now it takes 30 minutes to a hour just to book one single trip!

Another issue is when im done with a dr i use to just call the cab directly and go home. Now, im forced to call logisticare instead, thus my two hour wait bleeding in the hot sun on the street in pain. Its so inconvenient to have to now call logistic care, remember a reference number to tell them, wait for logisticare to call the cab, wait for the cab to call them, then call logisticare back after a long guess time to find out where the cab is and how long ect ect. at the same time dealing with rude people on the phone. It takes five steps or more to get home. It was much easier, smarter, and better to just call the dam cab directly and go home in only one step. I would only call logisticare if there was a problem. I also dont like that logisticare punishes people. They told me if i didnt tell them a exact time i will be done with a drs visit, they will make me wait about a hour or two or more for the ride home. Mean and nasty to treat sick people that way! How are people suppose to know the future and when the dr will be excatly done seeing them? Very strict corperate rules that make no sense and have no business dealing with transporting people to dr appts. This greedy unprofessional company uses many horribly stupid ideas that are a big waste of time and hassle for me and many other Americans! Im hearing a ton of horror stories online, in person ect.

Im putting together many petitions to my state and local officials to pull their contract and give it back to the old company. Until logisticare stops providing trips i will boycott for health reasons. Its to risky and dangerous to use this company. Its very unfortunate that i had to ask my family, friends, and caseworkers to step in to take me to my drs. Its hard enough to deal with health issues. Dealing with a cold hearted, fustrating company that gets paid tax money to hurt people who get treatment and provides very poor, unreliable services is sad. Im very sick now because of the missed appointments. And before i die, i wanted the people to know how bad my experience with this incompetent company was, and how rude, mean and dispicable its employees are and how New York and America can do better by ridding itself of this menace to the sick and suffering.
