On December 7, 2016 I took a tote bag to Darla Whitworth at Little Darlin's Boutique in Hixson , TN and she assured me it would be monogrammed and ready before Christmas. I also ordered a vinyl decal that same day. I have been to her shop numerous times and contacted her through messages and she kept promising me it would be ready. Two people did not get their Christmas gifts because she lied to me over and over. Now it's January 11, 2017 and I can't get my tote bag back or my decal and both of these have been paid for. I feel like she took my money and has stolen from me. Please do not deal with this person or you will be very disappointed!!!
I wanted to warn others about this business. The woman that runs it is extremely unprofessional and does not know how to run a business. It is a cute little monogramming shop where you can take things to be monogrammed or buy things from her and she monograms them. However she takes your money up front often cash and then fails to deliver. Basically even through her shop is supposed to be open at 10 am every morning she is NEVER there during business hours. I have been there past noon and she had yet to show up.
Even when you tell her you will be by to pick up your stuff at a certain time, she won't be there. Then she takes forever to finish your items. My mom bought a purse from her and it took her 3 months to monogram it. I brought her a few things to monogram and it took her two months. For three monograms! You have to basically badger the heck out of her to get her to do what you paid for her to do up front.
Then I met another person whom she completely ripped off to where she never got her money back or her items and she ended up blocking the customer on social media and her phone.
The woman has a million and one excuses about why she was not there during regular business hours or why your stuff is not ready.
it is absolutely absurd and I am not convinced the store is not some kind of front because she literally is never there doing business and she runs off all her customers with her unprofessional behavior.
She made it where you cannot leave fb reviews on her business page.
People need to know not to try to do business with her
I ordered an item for a Christmas present in October. After many texts and calls with little to no response,i,went to the store to pick up the product and she informed me that it was backordered. I then asked for my money back and she replied that she doesn't have cash. She asked for my PayPal address. She has yet to pay me back!!!! She has done this to several other people also. Gives them the run around. Doesn't open her store at the hours posted, doesn't fulfill orders in a timely manner and definitely doesn't communicate.
