Liquidate AZ shipped my auction items to the wrong address, even though an e-mail, with specific instructions to ship the items to my home address, was sent to them, per their instructions. They refused to take accountability of this mistake, and, instead, placed blame on the shipping company (Pak Mail) and me. They did not respond to my latest e-mail, in which I respectfully requested resolution, and, to date, I do not have my auction items. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional business practices. I do not recommend business with this auction house.
BUYER BEWARE! Under no circumstance should you believe the rating this company assigns an item.
My recent purchase of "in excellent condition" records (2 lots) was nothing of the sort. All the records were melted--not just warped--and completely unplayable and unrepairable! (I know others who bought records from this auction and ALL were in the same condition.) ANYONE could see this, so why did they sell them? No scruples at all.
When I asked for a refund because this was not as advertised, I was told to see company policy, which states no refunds! And I WAS--note was--a long time buyer. NEVER AGAIN! They were slow to respond and very rude in their email exchanges as well. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
I must also add that I did attempt to preview the records at the company's warehouse, but was told the records were too valuable to be kept on site and were in "another office" and "would be brought over after the auction closed." THAT should have been the red flag that prevented my from bidding. But again, they lied and claimed the records were "in excellent condition". So I got burned for a lot of money.
My Advice: If you can see the item first don't bid!
BAD BUSINESS STUPID PEOPLE trying to force me to use Pacmail to ship my paid for goods and refusing to release these goods to my own shipper after I sent 3 emails and made 2 phone calls asking them to release to my authorized professional shipper, Len Werner of Westside Shipping.
I have used Pacmail before and had really bad service and was overcharged.
Employee Marcia refused to put me in touch with her boss saying he was too busy and refused to release goods I paid $133.35 for.
I suspect that Liquidate AZ has accepted a payoff from Pacmail for exclusivity but these are now my paid for goods and nobody but me gets to decide who will ship them. No prior disclosure of this case of shipping bribery was made by either party but Pacmail seems to have similar arrangements with Levine Auction and EJ Auction.
