The initial assistant during my scheduled eyeglass exam informed me they could do an Optomap test, but that it would cost me cash out of pocket, and would not be covered by my Vision insurance. I declined the test as I felt it was unnecessary and also because I had no cash on me.
Unbeknownst to me, they did the test anyway, and then initially told me I could not pick up my glasses unless I first paid the $39.00 for the test I didn't want. I filed a complaint with my healthcare provider, and Lifetime Vision Center personnel informed my provider that I had agreed to the test, which is a lie.
The fact they said I lied about agreeing to that test is absolutely unacceptable and very unprofessional.
