I have had five attempted break ins in the last year. I had heavy commercial locks on my unit, so they were not able to get in (only because they were amateurs), but the thieves did enough damage to the locks, that they needed to be cut off and replaced each time. The Manager, Erika Galindo charged me $25 every time that this happened. Erika, why the f*** is the fact that your facility keeps getting broken into after the office closes a customer's f**king fault? Your company should hire someone to watch over the property after hours. Oh yeah, that's right you're the manager and isn't there an apartment on site designated for you to live in? Do your f**king job and stop acting like queen b***h and angering every f**king customer so that they post stuff like this online. I warn every potential customer of this place that all of the glowing reviews on yelp have been put there by an on line reputation repair company. Scroll further down the yelp reviews and see the real reviews by all the customers who have been treated like garbage by this manager and the manager before her, Jennifer, who was also a rotten miserable person as well. Don't bother calling the corporate office in NY to complain, no one will every call you back. This company will only respond to legal action. Dirtbags.

Have had multiple burgulary attemps at this storage center. The center makes no effort to protect their customer's belongings. The center manager Erika Galindo is an ugly, very ugly, confrontational person that you will absolutely hate dealing with.

She always wants to start a fight with customers, openly braggs about how she isn't there to make the customers happy. If you call the corporate office in Buffalo, they won't even put you in touch with a regional manager.

Hopefully, by posting this review, someone from corporate in Buffalo, NY will see the review and fire this horrible source of trouble from the company.

Have had belongings in a prior storge for eight years and at the suggestion of my son to move it to East Hampton instead of where it was in Bay Shore. The payment was due on Friday and it was auctioned off on Thursday. Sent family members to check about the situation and they informed they auctioned off my storage. Called to lodge compliant and the gentleman told me it was up for auction and as I told him it was up for collection several times but was always paid it before this would happen. NEVER once in the several years I had my belongings in Bay Shore did they auction my belongings. They had sent. Priced when this was to happen and I would pay it no problem.

When Uncle Bob’s took over, I got no notification of the switch and they changed the payment date with no notification. After giving them a 30 day notice and completely seeping out the space, I moved out in the middle of the month. I received no reimbursement for the unused portion of the month. Additionally, the person who I talked to about the unused portion of the rent gave me attitude, bordering on being rude.

Please BEWARE of this site. It is rat and mice infested. They do not tell you this when you store your things there. They force you to purchase their insurance, but they do not cover the cost of movers to inspect damages in your unit. So, if you have an infestation you have to pay to have the things removed or handle your things that have had mice and rats crawling all over it. I am beyond peaved and can't believe my things may be ruined when they did not tell me of the problem.

I have spoken with (LifeStorage Employee) and (LifeStorage Employee) of Life Storage's corporate division. (LifeStorage Employee) has agreed to an illegal issuing of a storage unit eviction against me due to my complaining of sexual harassment performed by Life Storage employee, (LifeStorage Employee)of the 601 West Harrison location in Chicago, IL. Also, this illegal eviction has been mostly avoided by (LifeStorage Employee), Store Director located within Chicago, IL. No one has properly handled my case.

I will not be ran away by illegal and criminal eviction notices I've already contacted the Illinois Commerce Commission, ABC 7 News and the Better Business Bureau. If my case continues to be avoided than I will have no choice but to proceed with legal action against Life Storage LLC including it's operator and owner Cobalt. I am being retaliated against and my access code has been disabled illegally and via retaliation due to many sexual harassment complaints by me and my sister, (Victim/Complainant) reporting (LifeStorage Employee).

As of Friday June 03, 2016 he has disabled my access code illegally and my bill was due June 02, 2016. The access code is to be disabled the 5th day of none payment which is June 07. 2016. I am uncomfortable with meeting up or being within the presence of your employee (LifeStorage Employee) so, I will like for someone to be assigned with escorting to me to my unit of which my lock has been reported to be jammed for over 2 weeks.

I do not feel comfortable with him speaking or being around him. In that case, I am filing a police report against him due to his unwanted sexual advances and criminal behavior bringing upon my emotional and mental disturbance. I will move forward with court proceedings if this behavior continues and no corrective actions are taken place.

ATTENTION: The same person that sexually harassed me and my sister was the same person that gave me the eviction letter and it was allowed by the director and corporate.
