I paid way too much for a LIFEPROOF phone case because it is advertized as WATERPROOF. However, this is false advertizing and deception. My iphone was ruined. My photos, my business...my LIFE was on this phone that I trusted LIFEPROOF to protect. I couldve bought a $10 case and had the same result. Their MAIN SELLING POINT is being WATERPROOF! They are SCAMMING people for MILLIONS of dollars for defective cases AND THEY KNOW IT. That makes me sick! I've since seen many others who have had their phones ruined and when you comment online they tell you to email them privately! What nerve! Then they want to tell you they're sorry because there are "sometime unforseen circumstances"...i.e. WATER! And then they want to mail you another case. How gracious of them....send you a case for your phone that no longer turns on. I will not stop until they STOP making people throw their money away on crap phone cases. SCAMMERS! RIP OFF!
DO NOT BUY LIFEPROOF PHONE CASES! THE WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR PHONE FROM WATER!
These cases are not LifeProof, they are not even Teen Proof and from my experience and all of the identical issues that other consumers have reviewed and posted, this product is a defect and a SCAM. My experience is exactly like 90% of the posts out there. The store where I purchased the phone installed the phone in the case. No one EVER mentioned that a "Water Test" should be done to ensure the case didn't have a defect. Once the case starting falling about within 3 months of purchase, the warranty department at LifeProof states that you should have "tested" the case. How does it fall on the consumer to verify the quality of product that a company advertises as superior, water proof, shatter proof, etc?
They do not stand behind their product. Their is NO warranty if the phone itself gets ruined because of there faulty product and deceptive marketing practices. They should not be allowed to brand and sell this garbage.
