Life Line Screening Reviews

Results provided by Life Line Screening may place customers at risk, I had Life Line Screening in February 2020. The results of the carotid artery ultrasound screening showed identical readings for both left and right side. I have never seen identical readings for this test.

The test also showed no blockage on either side. One week prior to the life Line Screening, I had an ultrasound performed on my carotid arteries at the Cleveland Clinic that showed 20-39% stenosis on the left side and 60-79% stenosis on the right side. When I sent the Clinic results to the doctor who did the reading for Life Line, asking for how this could happen, I received no response. Life Line telling me all is OK could have had dangerous results had I not had the real data from the Cleveland Clinic.

My wife and I went into recieve the basic screenings that they advertised. We were very specific in stating that we did not want any tests other than what we originally paid for. We were given a stack of forms and papers to fill out and sign. Unbeknownest to us they had included a form for an "Advanced Care Plan" and an "Annual Wellness Visit PPP PPS Initial" We mistakenly signed these along with all the other papers they had us sign.

I recieved a bill from Life Line for $91.70, the amount that my insurance didn't cover. When I called to question this charge, I got no satisfaction and told them I wanted to speak with a supervisor. I eventually talked to a supervisor who basically called me a liar and said that I signed the paper and I owed the money.

We took the test results to our doctor at our annual check up. Our doctor told us that we just wasted our money that these were tests that he did at our check ups and they are covered by our Medicare insurance.

I am in the process of fililng a fraud claim with Medicare. I'm sure that I will not be the first.

After my wife called to cancel our appointment and our membership that we will NOT be receiving a refund of the COSTLY "Gold" membership fees, that they deem "affordable". They stated that we would not be getting a refund as we were sent this information email, AFTER billing us and taking our money.

I believe that the representative should've stated to us that we will not receive a refund if we cancel the "Gold"Membership. I believe this is something that should've been Mentioned to us before we agreed to their contract aggreement.

They NEVER stated anything about not getting a refund if we cancel the membership. They just take your money and don't care if the locations they are at are not easily accessible for you or a convenient distance from your house.

We have major mobility issues and going long distances is very inconvenient to us, but they seem to not care at all. Just like the Govt they take your money and laugh all the way to the bank and don't really care about you at all and if their locations are easily accessible for you.

This company in my book is a major scam and we are tired of being ripped off by companies like this. So if you get a letter or post card or phone call from this scam company do not accept the call and throw the mail letters away. Do NOT be scammed like we were.

Do no get ripped off by this traveling "gypsy" roaming so called medical screening company.

So...I received Lifeline Screening info from Farm Bureau Virginia. I set up my screening and prepaid. At the screening...I needed to pay for an add on that they hadn't charged me fir...luckily I had my card. A few days later I received another bill...seems technical issues prevented my payment. SpENT Another hALF Hour paying them again. They assured me my Results Would Still Be In on time. OVER 2 weeks later, I call them...guess what...they didn't take enough blood...so several of my tests would have to be refunded to me...including the one I had to call in and repay. SO now, I took a day off work to do this and am going to have to go to my doctor anyhow...as I don't trust anything they did. STILL don't have my results and would like a full refund.

I have 35 years experience in sales/marketing, and have worked phone sales,

this company should not be trusted, I complained about price to the girl on the phone,

because it was $541 for 5 sets of tests, she said no problem, I can get that down, she

talked of a "Mens total panel" that got the price down to $371, and yet would do all the

tests I wanted! Sounds good, right? WRONG. I requested to be shown on their site where

this "panel" is shown, and she became dumbfounded, and said it is only on her screen!

Bottom line? It is a sales tactic, to arm the phone closing pro with ammo, to overcome an

objection of price, I wanted to see it in writing and print it or take a cell pic and show it to my

doctor, for his opinion, etc.... she had no way to show it, and refused to get a manager or person

to email, text, or phone me with access to this "panel" in writing... I don't have any more time for

this phone sales scamming company, be smart and find a different avenue to screening where your

health is at, Good Luck! Walt T. Boca Raton, FL

My husband and I had gone into Life Line Screenings for three prior testings. The most recent trip was a disaster.

I was having the artery test in my legs done, and asked the tech "If a problem shows up, would this indicated perhaps problems in other arteries as well?" Seems like a legitimate question! The tech was a woman with a bad attitude. She answered, 'I am checking your leg arteries'. Thinking perhaps she had not understood my question, I rephrased it and asked again. She became irritated, LOUD and aggressive toward me to the point that one of her co-workers approached the table I was laying on and asked if she could be of assistance.

I explained to the co worker what my question was, and the co worker responded she didn't know the answer but would check with a supervisor. At this, the tech called me a stupid b****, and started disparaging me. Because there are only curtains for walls, I was embarrassed and humiliated that everyone in the room could hear her demeaning me. I sat up and started to remove the pads that had been placed on my legs and told both of the techs that I was leaving. At this, the offensive tech started screaming that I was going to attack her! My husband heard the fracus (as did everyone else) and came into the area and witnessed this event. He told the tech that I had in no way made any move toward her, and that I was simply doing as I said....getting ready to leave!

Before I left I stopped at billing table and told them not to bill me as I had no tests done. I also asked to see the manager. What a joke that was. The manager was totally unconcerned. He had to also have heard the tech. He said they would not bill me and took no action against the tech. Business as usual. They must be very hard up to keep such employees. I found out that these medical techs have no certification or degree. They are off the street and given a minimal time of in house training which is why the rude woman could not answer my simple question. She was so indignant that anyone would ask a question!

I called the corporate office to share my experience but never received a call back.

These guys are in the business of tricking the elderly into paying for medically unnecessary tests. The only focus is to upsell useless tests to people using scare tactics. Poor mangement, brought me in and had me sit for 3+ hours what a waste of my time. They tried to con me into more tests. If you need a test please work with your doctor, they can do the same tests and will not con you. They had the set up like a herd people in and out in minutes, people are newly hired and unexpericenced . NEVER AGAIN!
