We ordered and paid for a bed in March that said it would ship in I believe 5-7 days. 10 days later I followed up to find out why I hadn't received shipping info. They apologized and said "The item in your order is currently out of stock and is expected to come in around the end of June." We could have received a refund or continued to wait.
We didn't hear anything from them so at the very end of June I followed up again and was told "You were supposed to get an updated email with the back order change. I apologize if this wasn't the case. The item in your order is currently out of stock and is expected to come in last week of July." I then called but wasnt able to find any even remotely similar beds with them that were actually in stock.
July came and went so I AGAIN reached out at the beginning of August to get a status update becuase of course we didn't get any information sent to us. This time it took multiple follow ups to receive an email response at which point they said, "The item in your order is currently out of stock and is expected to come in 9/13"
I have replied to them twice asking how this is possible and received no response. I would bet all the money in the world that this bed will again not be available in 2 weeks time.
At this point I am proceeding with requesting a refund and am on the hunt for a real bed. This company never had any intention of sending me a bed. Instead they just wanted to charge me for the bed and use my capital to do whatever they please in the meantime.
They have the WORST customer service and business ethics and I will never do business with them again.
I purchased a Lippa 60" marble tulip table with 6 coordinating chairs. The first table was delivered broken. Unfortunately the replacement came broken as well. To make matters worse, Ledmod has informed me that I will be responsible for the cost of shipping to return the chairs. Horrible customer service for a company that can't deliver a quality product. I have posted a one star review on their website, but it was removed within the hour. Very deceptive company.
Buyer Beware. I take no joy in writing this. Avoid purchasing LexMod outdoor patio equipment from Sugar Stores. The first problem started at initial shipment. The patio chair was severely bent - no quality control effort would have allowed this to ship. I had to complain to Sugar Store who eventually delivered another. A little after one year the weaved material began to break and continues to break - see the pictures. I contacted Sugar Stores and they did nothing saying the 12 month warranty lapsed. My argument is that this is "defective" material. And that a company that stands behind their product would accept the opportunity to delight the customer - no response. I sent a second set of pictures showing that the problem had worsened and for a Manager to apply to my inquiry - again no reponse.
My patio furniture is faded, has broken weavings, and is getting worse every day. At nearly two thousand dollars I would expect more.
LexMod/Sugar Stores is a very, VERY deceptive company. Their products are misrepresented, are of very poor quality, and incomplete.
We ordered their espresso brown patio set. What we received was not...it was a very cheap-looking GREY and incomplete (missing an entire piece). When we made contact to return the items they gave us the run around offering various pittances to keep the set as-is. We refused and they finally agreed to pick it up and lied about making arrangements. It was clear they never had any intention of picking it up and issuing us a refund. We were forced to contact our credit card company for a chargeback.

After we submitted all our evidence was submitted to the credit card company the chargeback was placed.
But a few weeks later LexMod CHARGED OUR CARD AGAIN! We are still in the middle of this expensive mess created by LexMod - we are fighting to get back our $3000. Beware this horribly deceptive company. We have much more detail we can provide and will update this report as needed.
