I recently had a very unpleasant experience when helping someone in purchasing a horse from Leslie. She was completely unprofessional during phone conversations, often using foul language, she was very grouchy and short when asking questions, and she was demeaning in the way she spoke to the buyer.
We were willing to overlook this and actually liked the video of the horse so much that we went ahead and did the vet check or pre purchase exam before we drove long hours to her so that we could bring him home after trying him out in person. The vet called and informed us of some lameness issues. He also informed us that the horse had a different disposition than what we were looking for (she had advertised a laid back beginer's horse).
We passed on the horse. In closing the conversation with Leslie, she used a crazy amount of explicatives (mostly the F word), talked down to the buyers because of their being new to horses, and then she hung up on us. That evening I went to look at her Facebook ad to see if she would post anything about the pre purchase exam. She told everyone that the exam had been done and it had shown that the horse was sound. She completely lied.
