Lens.com advertising a $30 rebate on their contact lenses. I received the contacts and immediately sent in the rebate. For some reason I received an email saying it was denied and to resend the rebate by April 15th. The original terms and conditions that I signed and that they still have on their rebate applicaiton says they need to receive it within 12 weeks of your order.
I called and was informed that they changed their terrms and conditions so that they have to receive it within 8 weeks and because of this my rebate offer expired as of today.
I tried to take advantage of an advertized rebate through lens.com for contacts. The add showed the exact contacts i wanted for $29.63 per box (of 6) after rebate. Original price 48.44 per box. I ordered 4 boxes.. total should come to $193.76. Their receipt showed 4 boxes @ 48.44..total with shipping $286.67.
Nowhere did they show on the order that there were taxes and fees. I contacted them and asked someone to explain their company math. When they indicated that my order for 4 boxes included $82 in taxes and fees, i asked where those charges were listed. Where did they show fees on their web site.
The gal on the phone at lens.com had to create an order using my account. then where you submit your order, an entire 2 screen scrolls below the SUBMIT button, you can see the extra fees and taxes. Talk about hidden fees.. this is a classic cheat by what I now consider a disreputable company.

Contacted their online chat service to ask where my order was and they said they are holding it for fraud review????? I should be the one doing FRAUD REVIEW on them. I cancelled the order but now will have to call my card company to refuse the charge. WARNING - THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!!!!!!!!

Then decided to charge my debit card $75 without any confirmation or permission from me?? When I called they tried to say the order went through. Now after wasting all day with this BS..I'm out this $ and I now have to travel out of state tomorrow with barely any $. The f###ing worst shopping site ever!!
