Legacy Magents Took My Money and Never Sent the Magents Promised
Legacy Magnets contacted me in June 2018 about purchasing 50 magents from them. The sells pitch was for $200 I would get 50 magents and other merchants in my community would also get magents with my logo/info to distribute in their stories also. I paid the $200 in August of 2018 and I have never recieved the magents or heard from them again even after several unsuccessful attempts to get my merchandise. These people are just scam artists. They do not intend to do the honorable thing. There is no excuse for taking advantage of small business owners. Their business will not prosper. Instead, one way or another, they will reap what they sowed.
I recieved a call from Legacy magnets the beginning of July 2019. They were offering refridgerater magnets advertiseing my company, that I could give to my customers. They then sent a advertisement proof sheet of how the magnets would look and to make any changes or corrections needed and return to them within 10 days. so I did.
They said it would be approxamantly 30 days to recieve the magnets. They then sent me another invoice of what i ordered and amount due. I recieved a call from them on August 2nd 2019 and they stated that i could pay off early and recieve a discount for early pay off.
So i gave them my business debit # and made a payment of $235.00. I continued to get calls and call them about when i would recieve the magnets and they kept saying they had some problems with printing and they would be out soon. I have yet to recieve the magnets, so i called them today January 23 2020 and found their number to be disconnected.
We were contacted via phone on 12/07/18 by George Deweese, to buy advertising on a community magnet that would have important local phone numbers. We were told that we would receive 200 magnets to give away in our office in approximately 8 weeks and that the other advertisers in the area would be given the same number to give away.
About 4 months later on 04-09-19, we started contacting the company asking where the shipment was and when would we receive it. We were given a few stories from then on each time we called. We were told everything from it was just delayed to their office had been flooded.
There were numerous exchanges via email and phone until the last conversation on 07-29-19. Then on 07-29-19, I called and requested a refund and to speak to the owner (James Schafer) to which the person on the phone replied "he doesnt speak to customers because that is what he hires us for!".
This company has not been honest and forthcoming, and I deeply regret ever trusting them. They should not be allowed to operate like this and after doing more research online, you will find numerous complaints against them.
