On aug.24th,15 I had to call my job for availability in work for the week as I am a driver, unfortunatly my cell phone was out of minutes. he first time in my 28 years of life I had to use a payphone. Not somthing I wanted to endur. I then pick up the phone follow the automatic directions to pay with my credit card, I had no quarters on me and my truck had a flat tire that day. It clearly says all local calls are .50 5 minutes for visa/discover/phone cards and such...
I speak to a live person and before I gave her the number I asked its only fifty cents correct? "Yes ma'am it is, what is the phone number you are calling?" gave her the number and i was on the phone for not even 20 seconds. Now at this time Im broke and I had $1.00 left on my card, so ,50 cents for my call should cover it right? Wrong, on Sep 1,15 i make a payment to my credit card which the available credit goes threw the next day.
I call capital one to find out why i have $20 missing without me using it and they say "Legacy collect calls" What the heck. This company must have been trying to put threw whatever amount they were trying to charge me everyday because the day I had credit available over a week later its charged. The best part is when I called this company myself, they are called Internation lending. I spoke to a male rep, and he zero way shape or form was interested on believing that this operator told me and verified it was indeed .50 cents. This guy tried to twist it around and said "its .50 cents when yo use coins", wow nobody would get transfered to a live operator to dial the number if you paid with coins. He had the audacity to tell me it would have been $11. 16 but because i had insufficient funds they added on a charge fee. I wanted to reach into the phone and ring his neck when he told me this. Even so your company has illegaly charged my credit card, not a checking account, An amount that was not to my awarness and you call this a reputable business?
I will persuit this if capital one fails to credit my $19.16 to my card. Eventually this company will be in court with hundred of thousands looking for their settlement for being a victim of fraud.
