I received an invite to a personal fitness training group on Facebook. It looked like there were classes right down the street from me. I should have done more research. The owner of the page gave me the information I needed to sign up. I was told that if I prepaid for the classes I would save about 30%. I send a money order for $600 to the "class".
I showed up to the "class" and asked where to go. It was a gym in Narragansett. The people at the desk had no idea what I was talking about. They told me there were no classes. I have never been so embarassed in my life.
I went online and the page had been deleted. I got scammed out of $600.
